Ive had lots of great times at this track. Just a tip for everyone go to the far left lane you'll get more traction on that side. The V8s run on thats side so there is a little rubber put down.

anyone on here get pulled over on the way to or from racelegal tonight.
i talked to about 7 people that got pulled over on the way in. i guess the cops were sitting out on the road pulling over cars for "exhaust". i remember 5-6 years ago when they were pulling that crap and everyone stopped going to racelegal.
"come down here and race without having to worry about cops" my ***

I hope that red k20 eg didn't get pulled over when he left. We saw a few cops and a white eg was pulled over. They shouldn't be allowed to do that around race legal. Seems like it would be a police trap or some ****.

Well well all of a sudden a racelegal rep comes on the site and people decide to go down there and theres a police trap. Good job what is the excuse this time???

If your to cheap to pay 30 dollars then you don't need to own a race car. Nothing is free in this world. 30 is not bad considering its legal.

Well look at it this way then...why pay 30 bucks to go to a police trap just to get another ticket for 200 +??

On my way at midnight i saw at least 3 cars pulled over on the 15 RIGHT off friars road. There was a hatch, and that flat black rabbit, and some other car pulled over.

yeah i don't think i'm going to racelegal anymore.
i'm tired of hearing the announcer talking **** about everyone.
oh and the cops pulling people over for bullshit reasons.
and like i said before that someone quoted to this thread, the sdpd pulled this **** 5-6 years ago and people stopped going to racelegal and started street racing again.
i'd rather just go to barona and race/watch there. it's a better track (real track) and they have some bleachers so you don't have to stand all night. the food is better and you get to watch 6sec cars with no noise restrictions running all night. not stock 10 sec 2008 civic si

Did those guys that got pulled commit some type of traffice violation or were they just pulled over randomly?

I find it hard to believe the cops are there to just pull people over for ***** and giggles. If there were enough complaints I am sure the SDPD would address the issue. The track is there to keep people like us from street racing. If you honestly feel as if its a set up or an easy way for cops to have a field day bring it up with the SDPD or race legal and I can assure you it will be addressed.

However if your driving around open header or like an idiot for that matter do you think they aren't going to pull you over? Cops technically have to have a reason to pull you over and yes they can pull you over for just having a modified exhaust.

which is why most of the people got exhaust tickets.
i'm not the kind of person that gets pulled over and blames the cops.

the sdpd knew that there would be a bunch of imports leaving qualcomm and 99% of them would have modified exhaust.
all i'm saying is it seems to me like my tax $$$ are being wasted on punk kids with exhaust.

That extra $10 is an advance on the fix-it ticket you're bound to receive attending such events in cali.

Put it in another perspective. Every night thieves are stealing our cars and you don't see them stoping modified honda's being carted off across the boarder. Instead there excuse is which car are they going to care most about a 50,000 car or a 3000 dollar car that some kid modified. They rather that kid pay more money for having a car they can afford than doing the right thing overall.

The only reason that cop are pulling people over is because of the fact so many people have stolen car part, and they are trying to crank down so you can blame the thieves for that one.

Well, When we lived down there, we would race there on a regular basis with
Nalani's CRX before we decided to try to compete with the big boys. We always had a blast. Even Tyrone would run her THEN ! lol.

The fact that cops are pulling people over..... hum.. there are always reason.
How many times do you see someone hauling *** in the parking lot and doing burnouts as well? Not to mention they come and race and then they try to leave with an uncorked exhaust.

It is those people that most of us look at and say "what a jackass! those are the ones that ruin it for all of us!" cant they just drive away normal instead of trying to get all of the attention and eyes on them?

As for the $30... well worth it. we could and have ran over 12 passes in one night.
Now pay that at Irwindale and you would be LUCKY if you get 3 passes and the stop racing at 10pm.

Now this is just my opinion. but I am sure most of you will agree.
Too bad we couldnt make the trip to race the CRX now ! bring back the good days !

Reason they havent caught anyone for stolen **** cause thieves steal at night while the cops are at Krispy creams.

I used to drive my car there and all the parking lot jockies would try and race me on the freeway home instead of at the track we just left. SD is filled with [pejorative]s that are scared to dyno and come to real tracks. They rather see a fast car at a track and try and steal that an hope its going to run the same in there car. In order for the cops to do there job and crack down on anything they need to stop thinking that someone else is going to tip them off to do there job and actually think like thieves and hussle the streets in plain clothes. Im more of a investigator than they are.

ya race legal is great!! You go there and you pay money, so u can get scoped out and followed by thieves, rock music is blaring so you cant hear the engines and tires, get harassed by police, traction is worse than on the streets, etc

You guys wanna run a proper racing event, tell the SDPD to look for more important things than modified cars, they are discouraging people from legal racing!!

THATS WHY WE STICK WITH GOOD OLD FASHIONED STREET RACING AND RUNNING FROM THE POLICE. NO F*CKIN ETIQUETTE FROM THE PIGS. Instead of dealing with the rampant meth-heads and car thieves all over town, they choose to harass us clean-cut, normal people who just enjoy our hobby. We get harassed by police and then we get our cars stolen and messed with all the time. SDPD

THAT IS A NICE *** IN YOUR AVATAR

Sucks that SDPD is just using StreetLegal as bait to generate cash from the tickets they issue. Fawk that..... back to street racing for the SD hommies.
