Sauls Pro Stock CRX for 2011
Hello guys,
This all came together form noting really. It is amazing how things work. To make a long story short Jack Sacchette and i were brought together by a mutual friend. I went over to his place to look at the car. I knew about the car for a long time but never had the chance to look at it closely. I remember that we raced together at a vegas NHRA event if i am not mistaken, but at the time i had my hands full with team Prayoonto to have time to look at anyone's car.
Walking into his shop and introducing myself i was amazed at the product line he has for the VW world. He takes the VW world to the next level, with what he has developed with his inhouse engine dyno to R&D his product and track testing aswell. He happens to be in Santa Ana Ca, 40 minutes from my shop. Jack has been racing VW for 30 years and that is what he does. When he started racing NHRA with us imports FWD he saw that the honda market was something he wanted to get into. Jack then went to Ron Lummus to build this FWD Allmotor Race car. The car was built and then Jack started his engine development with the k series Honda engine. After going to a few import events things started to slow down and he turned his focus back on the VW market and kept working on the honda project on the side.
When jack and i sat down he showed me all the stuff he was working on and i was amazed with the quality of his product. His CNC abilities are incredible. Iv been working around CNC machine for years now, and i can say that jack and his guys are great engineers. They make great parts and have developed great things for their k series engine program.
What it came down to was that Jack has his hands full and need someone to race the car with his product. After going through the car on the lift and bring it down to the floor for a top view. I was speechless. I feel like i understand race cars after 10 years of racing. Iv seen all kinds of race cars from 35k builds to 1 million dollar builds, and let me just tell you this. In my opinion. What Jack and Ron have done to this Crx i would say IS the best Pro Stock Chassis out there. This Chassis with Jacks and some of my tricks should be a great contender.
I will be in the seat next year.
I have 40 foot trailer, possibly 2 car team is the goal.
More pics to come.
Full Pro Stock field would be amazing!

Re: Sauls Pro Stock CRX for 2011
Hello Everyone,
Thank you guys. Im glad you all like the car. End of the month already. Time does fly when you're having fun. I have been trying to get as much done as possible. I finished the new engine and chassis harness beginning of the week. I also got the car ready for the fab guy to start on the airbox for the new kinsler throttle body configuration. The new custom offset, and width rims that i requested for the car from exospeed are looking good. Weld Wheels where not able to help me in that department . But here is how the car looks today.
Car looks amazing. What do you guys think? Have a great weekend everyone!
Yes Richie. The car will be coming out east. Get your car finished already. See you all soon.

I have been hearing rumors about this project for a while.. Looks excellent buddy. Let me know if I can help you with anything. The kid from Gardena never ceases to amaze me.
I am proud to have seen your progression over the years and wish you all the best next race season.
