Re: S2000 Drag Build
the project will be out in the fall. Everyone involved is putting in some serious time to get it done right and on schedule.
There have been some set back though and yes it has been an expensive project, with much lost/stolen along the way of the build
anyway some more fun stuff:

Re: S2000 Drag Build
Sheesh!!! car is looking sick. i can remember the day when it was stock and we dropped it off for the first cage. it's definitely come a long way.
Good luck with the rest of the build. Looking forward to see it go down the track, but i'm guessing there won't be any more 330' wheelstands!!! haha

Re: S2000 Drag Build
lol..remember that Drew..damn time flies. The wheelies bars should help
No Chris Miller is no longer associated with this build.
The K series is just a personal preference at this point. I have been through many F motors and would like to see the results of the K
yes Redstar is a badass car..the small tire (front) in the comparo below is 10.5

Re: S2000 Drag Build
I've been seeing this for awhile now and I have to ask...Why do people have there front bumper so flat??? Wouldn't that cause more of "Parachute" effect since it's so flat up front??? Wouldn't it be better to make it as more aerodynamic as possible???
Other then that, the build looks awesome!!! Keep us updated at all times!!!

Re: S2000 Drag Build
the dry carbon is being build by folks that handle some NHRA pro-stock cars. If you look at the profile pic of the bumper you will see there is a slight angle/pitch of the bumper. Also I want the car to be as close to stock appearance. As for aerodynamics it does contour the air properly, look below at a pro-stock reference pic of a similar shaped bumper.

Re: S2000 Drag Build
Yep, Yep, and Yep..
as for class, I'm not sure. I am building it with some respects to the old modified class. But not too concerned with that. I am certain the industry will see a resurgence and provisions will be made for various builds to compete.
