We race because we enjoy the atmosphere and the people. Race cars have been a common interest between Cori and I(probably what kept us together this long) a couple of people ranting and raving over some minor details is not a major deal to us. To the "other competitors" if this is what excites you, have at it.

Yes, I paid off the tech officials to let me slide
Yes, I tried to run Nopi Chic, until my weave fell out at mid track

Lets just say that the NOPI CHICS have made tech for there class very difficult, and they will be teched thoroughly this weekend in Rockingham.
Everyone make sure you have all of your interior in, make sure you are not in a rental car, and make sure if you protest someone you have your facts straight.
This goes for all of the classes, this is the 5th race of the season, everyone should know all of the rules by now. Good luck to everyone and lets keep it fair and fun.

The NDRA tech staff has made it very hard to be an honest competitor in NOPI CHIC, (and I hear in some other classes), due to the lack of diligence in technical inspections. Every car in every class should be teched thoroughly at every race and if something slips by, or if you let something slip by, you, Glenn, as the NDRA Technical Director should take accountability for it instead of passing the buck.

All that we ask for is a fair playing field. If you want to throw all the rules out the window, we could all have alot of fun. Until that happens though expect me to play by the rules and to expect them to be enforced. If that makes me a bad person, so be it.

You are correct Jeremy, I need to be accountable for everything that goes on in tech, and I was not passing the buck to anyone. BUT,
From now on when you have a question/protest about another car, please see John and Bobby in the tower for the appropriate protest form and pay them the $250.00 for the protest and then the tech staff will follow through with it from there.
That is the easiest way to handle it from here on out. Strictly by the book.
