spoiler diffuses air by increasing amounts of turbulence flowing over the shape, "spoiling" the laminar flow and providing a cushion for the laminar boundary layer.Generally cars running over 100 mph in the ¼, can benefit from adding a drag-race rear spoiler. The spoiler becomes more effective as speed increases; adding much needed down force in the rear of our cars(our rear end is real light) to keep the car stable at high speeds. Some "less aero" type cars can realize a performance benefit at lower speeds.

you dont want to disturb the air flow, we keep the flow from the roof onto the wing smooth transition. like with anything else test and run, but we have found that keeping it with the flow of the body is the way to go.
