Re: race jacks
Looks like to be the same as the Harbor Freight jack. We have 2 here, beats the hell out of POS Craftsman aluminum jack at 1/2 the price.

Re: race jacks
NorthernTool does tours/trade shows around where I live all the time..
Most of what they sell is good value for the money, But def not top shelf!
for $100 looks like a solid investment to me!

Oh yea, only 14" hadn't noticed that yet.
The two jacks we have go to almost 19"
I had our Craftsman Al jack rebuilt by a local Jack repair company for $50.00 seems to work good but you have to bend down to release it because the U joint broke.
The Craftsman steel jack 3 ton has worked well for over 6 years.

Re: race jacks
The more I think about this, I think I'll go with the 2 ton Torin or the 2 ton one at Harbor Fright. I like the 19-20" height.
But then again this one would stay in the trailer, not sure we need the 19" of lift at the track.

I got this one and love it to death... I doubt you'd need anything that HD though... I'd get it... Two thumbs up from me...

Re: race jacks
The lift height is a downfall there...it should come with it's own piece of 2x4 to help, I always use one when getting the cars up on stands.

Re: race jacks
OTC Aluminum 2.5 Ton - Lifetime warranty. You never know when the seals will go with these inexpensive aluminum jacks. Warranty was important to me.
