Even under the ogs banner the nos had a weight penalty then it got lower and then it got removed after a few cried and complained about it. But since they see people thinking of using it and we all know their were quite a few people who had it on their cars last fall nats they decided to add weight to keep the class more competitve. Seems to be the direction they wanted to go this season. And we have had some very competitive racing.

Who's car has gone noticeably quicker and faster on nitrous in the class to make this statement? I know why the big uproar came about and guess what? that car still goes just as fast without the nitrous being in the car.

Thats not gonna happe, trans wont stay together at 2450, never mind 2650.
At the end, we will show up and race. Cause thats what we enjoy, but at times I question why because of some of the cry baby ***** *** racers among other things.

The car was at roughly 2500. But at that weight it's as reliable as a Gforce honda Trans. And that's not a fun way to go racing.

I spent all day putting 200 pounds in my car and at the end of the day I said what the **** am I doing. I am putting in 200 just to not make the field and most likely break some thing.

that is just retarded. You can't spray enough nitrous into one of these motors reliably to make up for that weight add not to mention the hit on the drivetrain.

There is something you can do. Email and complain or don't support the man who puts the race together. He'll learn quick if nobody shows up.

I vote for letting the neon have the nitrous with no penalty. I like seeing different cars in the field. Even tho I think without the nos the trans might live alittle longer.

There's a second chance race in the SFWD Shootout Class. If you don't qualify in the first 16 spots, there will be another 16 car ladder. Winner takes all, $1000.

Congrats to Cole Marmon from Speed Factory on taking the win the SFWD Shootout. He was running consistent 8.7-8.8 all weekend. A well deserved win!
35 SFWD cars tried to make the field and the bump for the weekend in the SFWD Shootout was a 9.3!
It was an amazing event and lots of great FAST side by side racing!

the sfwd shootout was a bad *** race, alot of fast cars and close racing. it was great to be a part of the class
