Engine swap (e.g., B series to a K series) permitted provided engine swap kits are commercially available and approved in advance. Engine must be from same manufacturer as body. Engine must be overhead cam, production based design. Engine must be in stock, transverse configuration.

That rule is regarding engine location as in transverse vs. longitudinal, etc... How else would would you determine the correct location for a k-swapped EG ? Or any other car that has a different trans and engine than it came with OE?

Awesome that you are wanting to take the engine program to the next level. I just really hope it doesn't turn off racers when $95/qt oil becomes the standard... HOLY CRAP! lol
That scoop looks sweet for the throttle bodies, but is the class allowed to remove the upper radiator support like that?

why not use royal purple XPR 0w5 or XPR 0w10 thats what they run in prostock now
