PFC hatch runs 8's... FINALLY!!!
Well, we finally achieved our goal of running 8's on a "simple" 67mm setup. We brought the car out to the Las Vegas IFO on December 7th with the goal of running 8's. We have had a tough couple of years with drivetrain problems and little gremlins. So in the middle of 2013 we finally upgraded to some real axles, DSS pro level axles with waivetrack diff. On the 3rd hit with those we broke the transmission. We made our minds up in the fall of 2013 to upgrade to a PPG dog box with the 4.2 final drive for the 2014 season and couldn't be happier with our decision.
It took us awhile to get the money together and then PPG was on back order so we were only able to compete in 3 events this year. We went 9.043 @ 163mph at the first event in Colorado with a DA of 7800'. And we ended the year with an 8.93 @ 167mph in Vegas! Anyways, here is a couple pictures of the setup and some info on it.
Motor setup:
84 mm GSR block sleeved by RS machine
GSR crank
GRP aluminum rods
Speed Factory/Arias pistons
Stock port head w/ supertech valvetrain
Skunk 2 Pro 1 cams w/vtec locked
Edlebrock Victor X w/76mm throttle body
Forced performance JB 4294 67mm turbo
Drivetrain:
PPG Dog box with 4.2FD
Hondata S300v2
4 ID2000's running on "e90"
Here is our FB page we just started, go check it out and see some videos of the car in action https://www.facebook.com/pages/PFC-H...homepage_panel
Thanks to Dave @ Colorado Speed and Chassis for all the help over the years, Derrick @ HAVideos for all the help and badass videos, Nayr @ Colorado Race Fab for his help and of course Marc P @ GP1 racing for selling us the transmission!

Huge Congrats to Max and the whole PFC crew! You guys deserve this!
M&H are the best tires for a FWD Honda IMO. Had nothing but good luck and performance out of them and owned several sets. And as you stated the M&H seem to last quite a bit longer and not degrade so quickly with age.

Thanks!
Yeah, still stock port head haha no money to get a badass one yet. We have the magnafuel tuner 750 on a 12v setup. Base pressure was 70psi in Vegas though and we were still 100% duty cycle on 40psi of boost haha. Time to upgrade over the winter
