OFFICIAL ALL MOTOR Gamblers Race at May 6th Las Vegas IMPORT FACE-OFF
Buy-in is $400... non-refundable deposit is $250, $150 balance to be paid at event in cash. Those on the list are asked to make deposit within 72 hrs if using paypal, and by Wednesday, Feb 8th if mailing a check... starting now, Feb 3rd at 5pm central. If we do not get at least 8 deposits by Feb 8th, the gamblers class is off and all will be refunded. Racers from far away are depending on a big pot and must make plans way in advance. If using pay-pal, send to my assistant's account, Jeffrey_Natanael@Yahoo.com (underscore between Jeffrey and Natanael). If mail check, send to Hybrid Entertainment, 9848 Perkins Rd. Ste B, Baton Rouge, LA 70810.
For those who do not make deposits by Feb 8th, buy-in is $500.. just to make it fair for those who deposit on time. The extra $100 will still go into the pot. I will add at least $300 into the post myself if get at least 8 deposits by Feb 8th. Payout distribution will be 70% to winner, 30%.
Agreed rules are IFO AMP FWD rules, but with "Outlaw" fuel and weight restrictions (see quote below). Weight and fuel checked at tech and after each round.
As of now it is only a one day event, but gates will open early and there is no threat of cancellation due to low temps since in May. I'm still waiting to hear from the track if we can do some qualifying during their Saturday event. If we can, there will be 2 qualifying rounds on Saturday.

You think east coast would only have 3 deposits if race was on our coast?
Let's make this happen

well i know this is a honda forum but i have a mazda rx7 stock chassis and we built this car just for your pro all motor class because import face off allows rear wheel drive cars and i see no rules and weights for my car and i will be there with my car to compete

Seems like were not going to have a gamblers race if we don't get enough deposits. I put mine in and my car is not even close to being done.
If we don't get enough deposits to have the gamblers race, i'm not sure if ill make the drive down.

This is pretty sad imo, that west coast can't get 8 people to put in deposits to make this happen.
I have yet to send in my deposit, because I had all intentions of paying at the track and just showing up.

I'm willing to wait for a few more days to see if anyone sends in deposits before we call it quits. If its ok with every one that sent in deposits so far.

What is the need to rush the deadline so quickly?
We usually don't get most of the deposits sent in for shootout until month before the event.

Racers from far away are depending on a big pot and must make plans in advance.
West coast gamblers events in the past have failed before. Not enough racers put up deposits which didn't make the trip worth it for those who did, so most all ended up backing out. Was a waste of time for everyone. We don't want history repeating itself, especially for those traveling 2k+ miles.
