It was a great turnout despite the rain and delays. We had gotten our first qualifying pass at 2:30pm on Sunday, but the outcome wasnt great. It was great watching Tony, Miller, Clutchmasters car all bringing the times down

I was just gonna ask.
What brakes are miller and the other 8 second cars using.
Prolly bigger than I can use since I run 13's, but figured I would ask.

Not to be a dick either but I saw way more fwd cars brake and oil down the track then rotaries ok. For Example red CFT civic broke and oiled down from the 60ft all the way to the shutoff, Almost a 2hour delay.

Great coverage as always from the whole GRS crew. You guys rock, thanks for all you do for the sport.

While I am here thanks to everyone who made this event possible. It was great to be racing in december. A special thanks to TD autowerkes, CNC design, The sign Lab, Torque Solutions and of course the NSCRA along with John Brown and the rest of the crew NSCRA and PBIR crew. You guys had alot of **** to deal with all day and kept at it till the very end.

Thanks to everyone else who came and supported the race, all the people who flew in to hang out. Thanks to Jay from N2MB for coming to lend a hand and chill. Its always a good time. Pepsi and the CT crew, great times. Thanks.

Thanks to my crew PJ, Greg, Billy D, and Tom you guys are great, its great having guys there every race to take the little things off of my head. Now that we are getting the routines down next season is gonna be a blast.

A huge thanks goes out to Kevin Van Natten for the ride down to florida. Bud lights and malibu bay breeezes double fisting like a champ

Tony, Mike, Nelly and the rest of the t1 crew. Had a blast and cant wait to do it again. Tony once you get a real turbo on that car its gonna be on so I will enjoy it while I can. Next season is gonna be great. I dont know how far we will take it but I know we will push each other further and further.

Last but not least thanks to wife for dealing with this ****

Thanks to the NSCRA staff for throwing one badass event...it had the potential to be even better if the rain stayed away....really if it had been one week earlier it would've been AMAZING. That's just how it goes in Florida.

Chris & Tony, it blows my mind what you guys are doing and i think it's a really great thing for the sport as a whole. Hope the guys who traveled to this event didn't get scared off by the rain and make it back down for the next one.

ATTN FELLOW RACERS....when your car breaks...YOU PULL OFF TO THE SIDE IMMEDIATELY, YOU DON'T TRY TO DRIVE THROUGH IT OR COAST DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE LANE. I broke an axle in the semi's and pulled right off, the track guy thanked me for pulling over but it shouldn't even be a question.

Final observation....whoever decided to run test n tune for all of the classes instead of getting right to qualifying made a bad choice IMO. We should've gotten right to qualifying and got on with the show. That combined with people painting the track with oil and coolant made for a unnecessarily long day.

I stand corrected then, i am just going off my experiences at a lot of events. Either way Modified, rotory, fwd, rwd whatever i think If its a high HP car rules should state that catch pans should be used! It would eliminate a lot of downtime!

First of all thanks for all those comments. It was a great weekend; I know 2010 is going to be bigger. We had a blast, NRG Tech, Van Natten, T1, Prayoonto Team, CFT, Gato, NSCRA, Proccolinos, the funniest man on earth Marco from Magnus, these guys are awesome. We just got home (Puerto Rico) and don’t think this thread is near to end. We’re going to start posting multiple angle videos from the event including the Record setting in car videos from T1, Miller and Reynolds.

I will start posting video links on the first post of this thread so they won’t get lost in this huge coverage.

BTW, If you want hi res original pics. PM me!
