Re: Nrg Techs sfwd Camshafts
Steve's graph is lagy due to the boost leak he has, it will deff come on probably 1000rpm or so earlier once all that is fixxed.
The cams are available and have been for a while now, it has actually been over a year now that I have been selling them.
They are not a billet core, we have found that the chilled cast cores are whats needed to work with the factory rockers.
The basic specs are as follows.....for the b series......
Intake .505 lift - 265 duration @.050
Exhaust .505 lift - 259 duration @.050

Re: Nrg Techs sfwd Camshafts
I would love to see a back to back dyno comparison of NRGs vs RLZ vs Crane Roller Rockers on the same car/setup. That would be SICK!! Each motor is different any way so there would still be a big debate. Definitely some sick #s for a car w/ a boost leak.

Just to give you an idea of how bad the leak was! I dont know what happened to the map sensor on the last run when she made the 780whp but check out the run and check out the boost leak!
The map sensor on this dyno is off by 2.5 psi
Went back to the dyno and printed this out!

i used the nrg "magic sticks" at the shootout. the car made 820whp at 29psi and went 164mph at only 40psi! i was going to buy roller rockers, but i am thinking of just running these cams. they were just too good not too!

HMMMM. 820 AT 29PSI BUT 164 MPH AT 40 PSI. sO YOU MADE about 50 more hp with 11 psi more. Sorry just thought that sounded weird.
