Just to clarify - "NHRA tracks"...
NHRA ownes Pomona, Indy, Gainesville, Atlanta and Columbus.
NHRA sanctions another 140 tracks--" NHRA Member Tracks". Basically, what this means is we set the standards for safety and track construction at these tracks. NHRA safety standards must be met by all other drag racing sanctioning bodies using said tracks.
Also, when you hear that Norwalk(or any track) switched over to NHRA -- this means they used to be sanctioned by IHRA or be an independent track. To switch over to NHRA they must upgrade the facility to meet our standards.
Not meant to hijack the thread--just to clarify.

Sounds good to me! I havent been in Texas since I moved to NC back in 2000, entering my freshman year of highschool. It'll be nice getting to hit the home state! Can't wait!

It's almost hard to believe that it is closer for the east coast to head to Texas than it is for us here in Cali. So we will say this is another east coast event or dirty south
