GTR's are bad *** cars for sure. Soo much potential from the factory. Look at the AMS GTR's and where they have come. Now in the 8's and still a full daily driver, a/c, all comforts, no weight reduction other than CF parts. 80k for the car and 75k for the Alpha12 package, so for less than 160k you have an 8 second daily driver GTR with all the comforts and will whoop any exotic out there and be just as reliable if not more. Nissan did a great job with the GTR and its powerplant. No doubt.

I have done doublepumper setups before in the GTR but I am curious why a triple before a big single like a Magnafuel or something? Does the stock ECU not take to different pumps as easily as other cars?

The R35 GTR comes stock with dual pumps. The primary is PWM controlled and the secondary is switched. With 255's or 340's you will still run out of fuel on E85 if pushing the HTA28's pretty hard. It has a saddle tank with venturi setup to siphon from one side to the other so the only good way to get a big pump on it is with a surge tank, which is what we're doing on our big power stuff. We'll use the Weldon 2345 on the big stuff.

Interesting, I didnt realise that about the pump. I could have sworn the one we had was a single...maybe it was upgraded doubles that was in it. I didnt do the work so I cant say, I thought I was told it was upgraded to a double...maybe it was upgraded doubles.
The same basic setup on tank siphon is most AWD cars (Evo, STi, DSM, etc.) I havent looked at the R35 tank up close, I presume there is less room back there with a transaxle.

So how were you doing the triple pump setup? Just adding a third pump into the tank. Do the factory dual pumps merge in the tank, outside the tank, or at the motor or do they run seperate lines to the front? Just curious about the fuel setup on them.
Either way sick car and probably has a hell of a powerband with the GT28's on there.

GTR= the new EVO, Evo= the new DSM, DSM belongs in garbage...
Sweet car, there is a guy in GA running 9.4x's consistent in the 153-155mph range. Those things must have some BEEF parts to move that much weight so quickly.

Re: Nissan R35 GTR 9.7@142 (730awhp)
Nissans for the most part have had pretty beefy parts when it comes to axles and stuff. Hell while the honda guys break their stock axles at less than 300whp, My stock B13 oem axles were taking 1.61 60's all day long. The spec V axles im now using are even bigger and beefier. Id imagine they would be good well into the 1.5's all day long on hard launches on slicks. The GTR is no exception. Everything in the drivetrain is pretty beefy. I believe on the new ones with the revised launch control also have an upgraded 1st gear which is what they were breaking on launches on the first GTR's.
Tony, nice job man. So I assume they all merge into one Line at some point.
