Default New set-up knocking on 10's (11.07 @ 114mph)

Same turbo , new motor.
B18C sleeved
Stock GSR head
Arias 84.5mm 9:1
Eagle rods
LS Crank
62-1 Turbonetics
Inline Pro Mani
JG Intake Mani
750cc Injectors
Stock Axles
ACT HD 6-puck
Crome (tune by myself)

Everyone was getting kick off the track, because of no roll cage. So, I made some 1/8 mile runs to get the feel of the new motor and getting the '60ft down. Finally decide to make a good pass with 24psi. Hook up great with a 1.695 60ft and got the the end of the track and blew my intercooler pipe off. Got the slip and dam, almost 10's.... A few minutes later the officials came over and told me that I can't run no more until I get a cage. Guess plans if for a cage this winter. I would never thought, I ever run this fast on such a simple set-up.

I didn't get my motor built up in time, but yes I was there checking out the seen. Wish I had it down and give some competition. Since, they didn't even really tech the cars.

he said that his intercooler piping blew off, so he would have been in the 10s at a higher mph.

Yeah, my piping blew off, that's why the mph is lower, I should of been trapping over 130+. I was just putting the clamp back on, the officials came and made me sign some paper. Told me to get a roll cage next time. I thought, I would get a warning. But someone from the night before almost hit the wall, running so fast and didn't have a roll cage. I guess someone was on their *** and made them more strict about it.

I ran on the dyno @ 14psi 412whp don't remember the torque. Then, boosted @ 24psi and couldn't get a clean run, tire started slipping after 6k. People were telling me it was my clutch slipping. We tried it again and still couldn't get a good run. This is on some cheap federal tires. Went out that night and street tuned for awhile and have to tell you it was crazy. Drove every where to fine a good straight away and made sure that there was no cars around. I had a manually boost controller that would not go over 15lbs. Went to get a different spring and my buddy that was driving, just barely pedal it and light up the tires on 2nd and 3rd. He was what the f**k. He's an all motor guy and couldn't believe it. I look over and it was boosting 30psi. Finally, got the boost 24psi and got a good tuned. Ran it the next morning. Will be upgrading the injectors, debating to get Type R cams and go back on the dyno and pulls some higher number. Goals set @ mid 10's.

B16a 1st-4th gears with LS 5th gear and Type R LSD, running on M&H 13X25in slicks. Yeah, wish I made a clean passed. I was still stoked, I know it's a 10's car.

Thanks, man. Motor only had a little over 500 miles. Had to break it in fast. Like the say, "Drive it like you stole it."

Here's one of the dyno sheet that didn't get a good run. People were saying my clutch slipping and me thinking the tires slipping. Never got a good run, so went and street tuned on 24psi. Looks like it should be well over 500+whp. I can't believe the torque on this motor. It has way more torque than my old set-up.
