My S372 CRX build

I would just point the compressor housing downward and run the piping or couplers down and around the radius rod then up to the intercooler... Easier than it looks when you use a FR bar.

Re: My S372 CRX build
I finally got the beast up and running but damn it's has been a hard time getting there. Fitting this giant turbo in a CRX is no joke and still being able to drive it on the street. I have been doing some street tuning the last few days and so far I'm not having cooling issues.

how do you like the s372 so far? when do you see full boost by? i would think street tuning a turbo like that would be pretty hairy.

Re: My S372 CRX build
It won't see boost before friday so I don't know. I just want part thr. tuned first and then tune it to around 450 whp. as my street map for 93 octane. I will get on the dyno later on and turn the boost up.

It's on the one side and there is also a piece covering some part of the buttom of the radiator. The 4" downpipe is pretty close to it so I thought it was a good idea to block it off.

Is that the same manifold as the one pictured in the first page? Looks like you changed the wastegate elbow to face the passenger side. Did you run into fitment issues? Looks great though!

Yeah I had to cut off the wastegate elbow and weld it back on the other side. There was no room for the wastegate. It was just one of many things that had to be modified. I just love working on a CRX... LOL.

Re: My S372 CRX build
Just a small update...
I ran into a bearing problem when the boost went up. I really don't know what happened. I upgraded to Manlay I-beams and a GSR crank instead and so far it runs great. I have only driven it on the street since the track season is all over here.
Btw. my buddy Allan and I will go to PRI in Orlando and be there from December 8. I would like to meet some of the local Florida guys. Let me know if there are some local events we can attend to.

I rebuild the engine with a GSR crank instead and switched to Manley turbo tuff rods. So far it's still only street tuned at 14 psi. I will track tune it next and turn the boost up.
Even with a S372 it's still much fun on the street and with a 13" Spal added I have no heating problems.

Re: My S372 CRX build
I use the same manifold but modified the waste gate to fit another way.
I only run a 3" down pipe but managed to fit rad, intercooler and everything else behind stock bumper.
