my late 07 early 08 spwd 42r/T1/AFI Civic SI build up

well my car is finally getting close to running so i got bored tonight so i figured i would post some pics of the build up.. comments welcome please keep the negative ones to your self

well when i started the build i wanted to drive it some on the street but my mine set has changed a bit and its now 100% race car.. and as for power probley for the first few times out just around 500 then turn it up hopeful make around 700-800

Don't worry bro, Mine's 4 years in the making and I have been through like 6 chassis's and 3 motor builds. Finally almost finished if things go my way in the next month or two.

looks nice !
my only suggestion is to keep an eye on that small battery, they dont hold a charge very long, especially if you have a problem and need to crank the car "forever" or multiple times.

yea i was also thinking that im putting remote battery post in the engine bay to charge the battery during rounds just in case.

in this pic, it looks like your coils are all grounded to the chassis with the mount you (or someone) made ?
i used msd rubber insulator bushings to mount mine. i dont think the coils are supposed to be touching anything.

if that was the case the metal bolts you are using to hold your coils would ground it also....

The coils can be grounded together, and if you use the MSD mounts they will not be grounded because the bolt threads into the steel part that's bonded to the rubber.
