Kenny's H22 civic 62mm Street car
For those of you that have been following my car and the progress from day 1 I appreciate it. I started this thread since I have stepped up to a 62mm turbo. The old thread was long and cluttered so a fresh start was much needed.
So about 2 months ago when I moved to florida from Michigan I quickly realized I had to step my game up. With plans of staying with the 6152 precision and going as fast as I possibly could on that turbo. Well I ran across a very good deal on a top mount with precision 46mm wastegate. Then I decided to buy a GE intake manifold. Then my friend decided he wanted to sell his 6262 off from his dsm so he could go larger. Now I am here.
The ultimate goal of the car was low 10's but IMO 11.2/11.3's came far to easy on 12 psi of boost with a stock f20b.
First day out with the fresh motor I made a new personal best pass of 11.19@124.7 on 12 creeping to 14 psi with only a few hours of tuning and very conservative timing. As I did not have very much time to really work on it on the dyno. I had the car on the dyno the week before with issue's the entire session.
So instead of turning the car up I figured I would spend the day at test and tune trying to better 60 foot the car. Nothing changed from the best of 1.72's. The car seemed to be biting hard in first and it had to work to get moving.
Anyways, I am currently in the process of switching over to the 2000cc FID injectors, top mount, 6262, and a few small odds and ends.

Did the tech inspector at the track not give you any trouble over that open aluminum can as a radiator overflow container? Seems like that could spill coolant all over the track pretty easily. Coolant is not a good thing to spill all over a prepped track surface so I am surprised they would have let you run like that.

Lucky there was none in it. Very rarely will drops of coolant get in there. Definitely putting a proper overflow before my next outing. That was a temporary that I neglected to change because I never had an issue with it. It was cheap??? lol

Re: Kenny's H22 civic 62mm Street car
Thank you sir. The car is currently on jack stands. Im thinking about going with the Blox Drag coilovers, a traction bar, and shed a few more pounds off the car(since Im 230 and my chubby *** cant seem to shed any weight) lol.
I ordered the fuel lines, fittings, and a few little things for it. As soon as that all shows up I will clean up the underneath of the car a little more and put the fuel system together.

Very Nice Looking Setup Sir! Looking forward to your updates. I may even bounce some questions off you every now and then. I am currently putting my motor together for my H2B Del Sol Street Car.
Brief Rundown of what my setup will include:
Darton Dry-Flanged Sleeved block
CP 10:1s
Eagle Rods
Balance Shaft Removal
Stock Port Head with Supertech VT & DDTech Stage 1 cams
Skunk 2 IM with portmatched 70mm TB
QSD H2B kit
Hybrid B16 Trans
Sheepey H2B turbo parts
PTE 6262, T3 82 a/r.
ID2000s & Walbro 450lph
Im hoping to push it to 500 whp on 93 and between 650-700whp on E85.
Keep up the good work man! I'm in the Orlando area

I almost went with the dd tech 1's but ended up buying these Pro 1's from a guy for a very fair deal. He upgraded to the DD 1's.
You will make 500whp fairly easy with that setup. I made 474 on 93 octane with my old ramhorn/61mm/18psi precision with a 9:1 and stock head h22.

Re: Kenny's H22 civic 62mm Street car
I decided against the Blox drag coils and went with the Competition series since it had the 12k front's and 10k rear. It gets me a lot closer to the weight of the car. Seen a lot of people say that the super stiff rear was a thing of the past and it makes sense. These look pretty nice for what I paid for them actually.

I just bent the sending units to angle and touch the bottom of the fuel cell. Just have to buy a T fitting to run the return tomorrow. Then I can finally start it up.

What intake manifold did you have? What kind of trap speeds were you running? Depending on what the motor is making itself that's 20-25whp per psi. That's incredible. Especially for a 61mm.

473 whp 373 trq @ 15 psi sc6176e with H23V 95mm stroke... H TRANSSS
Cams can definetly help...
So can having a B trans haha same setup with B trans will always read higher for obvious reason...

512 whp @ 12 psi n sc61 pretty good numbers... dyno is a tuning tool hard to say how accurate unless got lots of similar motor builds on dyno and dyno comparison...
