Re: K series to Chevy trans adaptor
I know I would def buy a setup like that off of him. We should see how many people would buy one and see if he'd want to do a small run of them. It would prob be better than having a bunch of people calling him all the time?

Re: K series to Chevy trans adaptor
I know this is way off topic but has anyone looked into using an ecotech tranny for the k for any of the fwd guys. I heard they are pretty strong trans and would spin the right way. Might be a worth while upgrade for someone who wants to make decent power with a fwd k. I'm assuming there would be a dog box avaliable for them by now also.

Re: K series to Chevy trans adaptor
I've had F and K 1/2 inch plates laying around the shop for years.
Lonnie at Clutchmasters already designed a flexplate that is used with a 1/2 plate.
Pretty simple deal

Re: K series to Chevy trans adaptor
Is there any links or anything I can check out for more information on this ecotec tranny adapted to the K series engine?

Re: K series to Chevy trans adaptor
if you are planning on try to go this route, there is alot more to thing about than just a plate to adapte the motor to a trans. what flexplate to use, the starter and the starter positioning, having a coupler that will work for a tourque converter, a proper stall/tourque converter. etc, etc, etc.

Re: K series to Chevy trans adaptor
Thats the setup I was thinking about... I like that it has an actual FLEX PLATE, not a super thick flywheel with holes for a TC to be bolted too
