We wanted to be there but it just wasn't ment to be, wideband took a **** on the dyno and had to stop the tune. We should be at the next one, and hopefully mid season we should at least have 3 other customer cars done that will be there.

Track was awesome..it was prepped nicely and a little cool but sunny. It seemed like a pretty decent turnout. Awesome day for racing.

Really shitty for an event like this ? Doesn't surprise me but I would of figured they would of prepped a little bit better, about how many cars showed up ?

A consistant 1.60 60ft... I'm content with that. 350whp eg hatch running 11.40s. Its not 9.90s but its also not a 200hp car.

They sprayed the line that's it. They said the prep was from the day before and they didn't want to work the track cause they didn't want cars to break.

Looks like fun.

What ever happened with that grey Honda from Rockford? He was supposed to be fast.

spooln: your car was moving. saw it and definitely fast for what it is. what beeyondbuilt meant to say is that when you have BIG power the track has to be at its very best not only to the 60ft but to the 330ft and beyond to the end. even when the track is crap we have a few 500+whp cars that struggle to get traction to the 330ft and even at times to half track. beeyondbuilt aka waldo did muster a 1.65, but it's more then just the 60ft. It seemed as though he spun thru 1/2 track. if the track was sprayed and prepped to the 330ft it would've helped us with traction to run better. Now if you are powered to about 350-400whp on slicks then even an unpreped track with only 60ft sprayed will do just fine.

Just a thought that maybe all the surrounding shops should participate in these events that cater to us. In fact, we are fortunate to have a track that still incorporates an Import event. If we show up and let them know that we are serious, things could and eventually will change especially if we all give them our inputs(like prep the track better etc etc....).

IW2 turn-out was pretty bad until noon. That's what Saturday nights do to guys and gals....LOL!!!

Hope more shops and import enthusiast can come out and enjoy the day with the rest of us.

Remember: a bad day of racing is better then a good day at the shop.
