Sponsored by: Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels

Round #3 Eliminations

(W) Victor Flores 0.267 9.82 @ 158
(L) Brenda Paddock 0.227 17.05 @ 47

Neither car gets off the starting line and Paddock could have got back in it but elects not to and Flores moves on

(L) Damon Chin 0.149 @
(W) Jorge Lazcano 0.093 6.47 @ 219

Big MPH for Lazcano who makes a nice run while Chin launches 1.02 60 foot to Lazcano's 1.00 and Chin has some sparks come out before the 330 and he slows and stops on the track

(W) Jesus Mulencez WIN @

Mulencez launches has a .994 60 foot and goes towards the wall and has to shut it down

(W) Jerry Morgano WIN @
(L) Dave Hance BROKE @

Hance hurt the motor on the last run so Morgano takes the tree and backs up

(L) Alex Ortiz 0.236 8.08 @ 181

All Drummond here

(L) Luis Corujo 0.129 N/T @
(W) Jorge Juarbe 0.100 7.11 @ 193

Wild one here as they were close at the 60 foot block and Corujo shook the tires and he went left then snapped hard right and was inches away from Juarbe and he jerked the car away which put the car on the passenger side in slow motion it rolled and almost came back down on all fours but ended up on its roof and slid to about 1000' and up against the left wall.

(L) Juan Tellafo 0.227 7.95 @ 138
(W) Luis Rivera 0.189 9.13 @ 102

Rivera was a no show and Baptista spins on the launch

(L) Mo Choudhury 0.351 8.92 @ 161

Never give up as McManious was gone on the tree but he spun at the hit and Choudhury got loose mid track and had to get out of it and McManious gets in it and gets around him for the upset taking the #1 qualifier out
