they didn't have any extra cashiers available. I'm sure they will next year now that they know what to expect though. The cashiers were surprised and said that was the most they'd ever seen for an import event.

I've told them my goals with this location and requested the same date in 2013. We've been penciled in.

either way cliff you do an amazing job promoting and help west coast racers to have a points series and a place to race quality events. we appreciate everything you do for us out here in cali. it is unfortunate under the circumstances the weather played for us, but stick with us! i will promise you that it will get better. i will help provide support or insight to get events running a little more smoothly if needed.

cliff puts on over 30+ events per year. that to me show some serious dedication to import drag racing. at the end of the day, its his lively hood, and it a business any way you slice it. you got to pay to play.

if anyone wants 2 day events, pay for it, market it, provide sponsorships, and payouts. if not dont give someone a hard time if YOU never done it... im sure if someone is willing to fork some dough over for the 2nd day, lets ride! or its water under the bridge.

thanks for coming out and we will definitely make adjustments for these west coast events. They are not like all our other IFOs across the country... Vegas was 5x the amount of oil downs, Fontana was almost 3x the amount of racers <who says drag racing is dead on the west coast?!?!

I agree.

We've been to the last three westcoast IFO events. Fontana, Vegas, than Fontana again. All three events the line to get in has been ridiculous. If racers could pre pay online and just drive up to the gate with their tickets everything could get going a lot earlier in the day.

^ yup that would be the best way, right now u can pay online but whats the point of it if you still half to wait in line and get ur wrist bands, paying ahead of time is suppose to get u in before the wait! but all and all was a awsome event! sucks the rain came in! but thats so cal for ya! hot all of xmas and both weeks of janunary then BAM rain is back and cold as F**K!!

Drag racing isnt dead in the west coast. we just dont have any tracks to go to or any good events. IFO is what we needed for a long time. Thanks Cliff for bring it to us. we hope to have more IFO events here in so cal..

YES this is needed big time in Vegas. Also the way they made use line up in rows for parking before we payed to race sucked. I had payed and was sitting in my truck for a good 30-45mins waiting for cars to move so i could get out. BUT as said Cliff we love that you put up with so many oil downs and delays most promoters just turned there back to all imports and for that thank you.

it's possible in Vegas, I'm not sure about Fontana though. From what I saw, all they have is that little 2 seat booth for tickets. I'll def find out for next time and request it though.

At bandimere they only have two booths as well but what is nice is they show up 30-40 min before the gates open and start selling tickets. That way when the gates do open pretty much everybody just drives right in. Don't know if this is at all possible for the other tracks but that works very well
