It was nice to catch the live stream....thanks for doing that.
Joe- beautiful pass bro, sorry you had troubles.
I couldn't help but wondering how the same issues continue to plague this particular event..... I kind of feel like Cliff sort of turns a bit of a blind eye at some tech stuff as to not turn away a larger field for the event.
Short term it might get more cars, but long term will just enable lazy, unsafe habits for racers. If this is not the case, then the ball was dropped again in the tech department.
Either way, event finished which is an improvement in and of itself from the past.
Good racing.

Looks good going down the track! Best of luck at getting the 7 sec pass on a 72mm. That is something I'm sure we all look forward to.

I'm not on an upset rant or anything, just stating some facts I've personally witnessed

Yes, really. Last year's Vegas event did not finish due to weather, not oil downs.
I hate seeing oil downs more than anyone because of bad reviews. Racers also have no idea the costs of clean up... extra staffing hours, extra supplies/prep, having to turn on the lights, etc. Its in the thousands. None of the oil downs Sunday could have been foreseen at tech.

You can't blame Cliff for these issues, blame it on your fellow racers. Better builds, and better catch pans will help too.
I know we are working on a better catch pan setup for our cars, everyone should plan for the worst and hope for the best.

Breaks happen. That's racing. All we can do is look out for it at tech, between rounds, after burnout, then clean up as fast as possible when does happen.
