Default Garrett 50 trim, .42/.48 A/R. Good for 300 hp and 7500 RPM?

I plan on boosting my D16A6 with a Garrett 50 trim, .42/.48 A/R turbo. My goals are 300 hp. The most I am revving to will be 7500 rpm. Do you think that the turbo will be sufficient? I really don't want a huge turbo because it's a DD car, and I want a really nice powerband.

I tried reading compressor maps but my head started hurting. I figured someone might have some experience here...
