Default Gardella in a new ride ??

FROM ADRL

(i highlighted in red)

can a pro front go 4.45 - 1/8mile ? or is Gary Gardella driving a new car ??

L) Todd Moyer - 4.296 et - 174.21 mph
(R) Jorge Lazcano - 4.455 et - 163.99 mph Lets see if Moyer can build on his success from the most recent Norwalk event... A pair of turbo rides here with the Peurto Rican Mech Tech team... And Moyer is on a roll with another great run!!!

(L) Ric Fleck - 4.946 et - 147.79 mph
(R) Gilbert Jacobs - 4.553 et - 163.18 mph
Fleck is here in the wicked Procharged Camaro. And he is on & off the throttle on this run while Jacobs makes a decent pass.

(L) Kenny Kneece - 5.932 et - 93.17 mph
(R) Bob Mandell III - 4.547 et - 155.91 mph
Kneece gets WAY crossed up & has to lift while Mandell finally gets the Olds down the lane.

(L) Brian Williams - 7.841 et - 68.22 mph
(R) Jason Hunt - 4.829 et - 159.06 mph
Williams with big problems right off the line & has to lift. Hunt makes a good pass in the FWD ride.

(L) David Lambert - 4.353 et - 169.44 mph
(R) Mike Hill - 4.298 et - 170.34 mph
Killer side by side pass here as Hill just misses the #1 spot!!

(L) Gary White - 4.184 et - 173.32 mph
(R) Gary Gardella - 4.450 et - 168.62 mph
WOW, Team Titan proves today's run was no fluke, running another HUGE number for the front half of a new national ET record.

(L) David Janes - 4.437 et - 164.11 mph
(R) Darin Hoyle - 4.258 et - 175.82 mph
Great run by Hoyle in his ADRL debut to go all the way to #2!!

(L) Brian Neal - 4.306 et - 181.91 mph
(R) Alex Viscardi - 4.340 et - 184.07 mph
HUGE speeds, both surpassing the current MPH record for Moyer!!! Each will have a chance to back it up tomorrow.

(L) Billy Glidden - 4.189 et - 172.10 mpgh
(R) Steve Kirk - 4.193 et - 177.42 mph
What a driving job by Glidden, making a hard move to the left & hanging on the jump to the #2 spot with Kirk right behind him in the quickest side by side pass in XTF history!!! Both also have shots at backing up the ET record over the weekend!!!

Hehehe, looks like having an 800 CI engine isn't necessarily the best combo out there for this class.
Which brings me to another good point. Since ADRL rules say, "run what ya brung, and hope you brought enough" look at all the various combos that run in this class when they're not restricted by rules. The racing is awesome and no one is bitching about one team having an unfair advantage.

btw, no one mentioned Jorge Lazcano qualifying in his Nissan! Go Jorge!
