track story

...friends of a guy who i guess just broke into the 10s get all crazy and take a Expedition SUV to the end of the track to tow it back. as they drive, the pass by the crowd screaming with some guys sitting on the open trunk. one guy gets all crazy and ends up falling out of the SUV and eat **** really hard. everyone got up and laughed their as off. i even think i have it on video.


street races story..

i was at ontario a couple weeks back and all these whack *** stunnas were cruising and revving their Kias and ****. An accord full of ugly *** girls drive by and they all stand out of the windows and sunroof. the all of a sudden a bunch of people just start throwing stuff at them and tell them to get eh **** out...i think i even saw a football hit one of the girls...pretty funny

Funniest moment ever at the drag strip...

This older turbo RX7 was running low 8's consistently, and on his last trip down the strip a loud BOOM was heard as he crossed the finish. A large mushroom cloud floated above his car as he came to a coasted hault. As all this happened some guy with dreds jumped up and screamed.."THAT'S INTAKE MANIFOLD!"

It was just a random comment that was so funny because it was so dumb. While everyone's jaw dropped, we all heard that ridiculous comment.

i dont have many or even any funny moments(cuz ive only been 4 times) but frustrating moments. like seing a 12 sec turbo porche run 16's. i was so frustrated lol. the guy had like a 3.0 60ftr and couldnt shift if his life depended on it.o and he couldnt stage either. very frustrating time for me but thats my boring story

I saw a 4runner or some SUV run at the track. He lined up against a camaro (it was camaro night). The 4runner smote that camaro and ran 12.9 hitting the brakes trying not to break out!!! (dialed in at 13.0)

You punk I was about to post this story! And yes, he did actually launch a couple of times in reverse through the stalling process. I was laughing so hard my stomach hurt, and talking trash about big budget fords in general.

dude, she like went from 25 post to like 1100 in one hour... no joke. i logged off and then came back and she went from a trial user to a normal one and 25 posts to 1100 in just one hour of me being logged off. i don't get it. trial period is for 30 days... she only been a member for like a week or something like that. hahaha guess she got the connects like that.

ha, ha, i remember both those cars. the mercedes had a scuba sized bottle of nitrous. it sure wasn't funny when the primered pinto (Joe Morgan, i think) was spanking everyone at palmdale also.

funniest thing ive seen:
Me and a couple buddies were at a street drag competition at a local track. This fully built 71 Chevelle pulls up, revs his 454 pretty high, launches his car, and SNAP!! all 10 studs on the rear end snap off, and the rear end falls to the ground tires roll away. The announcer calls for a floor jack from anyone in the pits, and the push it on the floor jack back to the pits.. it was pretty sick..

actually no it had some V6 engine in it that was made in brazil and somehow got frank cho to let him run at the battle.. but it made for some good competition but adam still spanked him =P aww the old days

Eh the competition we had at the 1/8 mile this last season was fun. We're friends with a couple of the track officials and it was the last race of the year. The one "official" buddy of ours had taken his Ford F350 V10 down the track and managed to bust out a 12.2. Well, we had to try and attempt to smote this, however rules were as follows:

a) HUGE Burnout for *****
b) 4 people in the truck w/ helmets
c) Stereo bumpin

We roll up in the Duramax, I'm riding shotgun and just do this retarded burnout. The kind that makes pro dragster burnouts seem weak. We were turnin em for a good 2 minutes. Aight good tires are nice and greasy how slow can we go?

Pull the truck up to the light and stall it up, tree drops, cut a pretty good light and away we go. Spun the greasy *** tires to about half track, hooked up, made it down the rest of the 1/8 mile and finished with a 13.7 which was around 52 mph or so.

Set the record for the slowest ***** to the wall acceleration run down the track this year I think.

Also some other stupid **** from the track includes the guy w/ a camaro thinkin hes big **** w/ a 175 shot of nitrous pull up and stage. Trys to launch on the bottle, and the motor goes before the tree even dropped. Good stuff.

it was at mir or jersey ATCO ENG> TOWN not sure which one, but it was the bikes racing and who dudes line up and go, one guy pops a nice wheelie and rides it out the time wasnt great but whatever. Then the next guy lines up by himself, this dudes bike was nice, long chassis painted chrome, so he pulls a wheelie too thinking hes soo tight. His bike lifts in second and it keeps going, he dumps the bike and busted his ***. He gets up and starts to yell at his bike like its the bikes fault. It was soo funny, everyone in the crowd was laughing at him.

I remeber being at the drags on night, one of the boys was racing his 4WD dohc turbo Laser, getting good times got to confident in his car launches at about 7,000rpm blows his centre diff on his first to second gear change seizes the car almost at half track in gear. Had to be put on trolley jacks and rolled back to the start line took a good half hour with 2000 odd people watchin.

The other one would be in the DYO class when you've got a 17 second car against a 12 second one and the faster guy takes off straight away cause the other guys gone
