fastest street fwd power?
is it HUNT that is running mid 9sec...with the crx.. trapping mid 150mph. I noticed that that car is still running 25x8.7x13 m/h. he is making 700whp??? just asking because I'm trying to size out our slicks on our race car!!!

Why are you using a street car to base your race car setup? Give people some information to help you.
What Motor,cams,turbo,trans ratios,final drive, what class do you want to race in, wheelie bars or not, what wheels 13 or 15, what front end stock or one piece.....
EDIT: why did you make this post? your other one about slicks is doing fine.... dont worry about what power someone else makes, just make as much as you can afford lol

i been wondering something similar... i see cars posting that they are making 600-700 whp even, but their trap speeds don't reflect that power. one of the cars i tuned made about 500 flat but his trap speed was 138. this was also on a dynopak which are supposed to read higher than normal. I guess it just goes to show that the numbers you run on the dyno aren't really that important. The only number that is important is what you run at the track.

I know for a fact that Allen's car was making low 600's last year and went 147mph at 2500lbs. I also know that it was making around 500whp with the old setup and averaged around 134-136mph. I'm thinking that a solid 800whp will put the car well into the 160's...

the guys at car doctor deffinately know something that we dont. jason was untouchable in his class, cars with more hp and around the same weight couldnt run him. Is the blue crx going to come out this year or is the coupe taking its place?
