FAL OR LEXAN windows (street car)
The last time i weighed my 92 eg in at the track was about 9 months to a year ago and it weighed in at 2250 with me in it. I havnt weighed it since but i removed all the tar that was under my two front seats (thats the only tar i had {VX} 
!) and i took out all of my vents under my dash and removed the heater assembly. I wanna go with Lexan windows from my quarter and rear window. What im askin basically is that, are the FAL windows as light as lexan? as far as requirments for nhra and other sanctioning bodies considered. Is it worth it to go lexan or should i just stick to getting a set of FAL windows? Any Help is appreciated. thanks...

the fal windows are basically lexan... there is little to no weight difference...
the molded rear window makes the kit totally worth it... because it fits perfectly, and making lexan fit like that, would be rather difficult. the side glass windows dont weigh all that much to begin with... and they hold up way better... so, Id probably just keep the glass..

Thanks for the help.. appreciate it. the real reason that i wanted the kit was cause i wanted the back window to be molded, ive seen folks that do it just regular lexan and it looks ok but its flimsy... well, ill have to think about it more so ill see wussup. thank again...

i've been running lexan in my daily driver for about a year now. i wish that i would of got the fal windows because the rivet look just attracts to much attention, but for the price that i got all the lexan to do my windows with compared to the price of a set of fals, the fals deffinently would not have been worth it.
