Re: Exospeed front end vs strada front end
Just my .02 cents, but i actually had the opportunity to see both kits get installed at the same time yesterday afternoon and honestly have no idea how the Strada would ever fit... blew my mind. the Exospeed front end defiantly appeared to be much higher quality.(fiberglass was 100 time's smoother with a significant amount less defects, it also was neat to see some carbon reinforced area's, as well has something as small as 10mm thread certs in the flares for the 26" +2" kit.) both kits where +2" wide kits to accommodate 26" tires, the Strada was for and EG and the Exospeed was for a EK. To be honest i am unaware of any shipping information that has to do with the Strada, but i didn't have any issues with the Exospeed front end and there service what so ever. i was actually a bit concerned with the design of the Exospeed front end at first with the small flares that there kit utilizes, but after seeing it in person it looks amazing. Most deff. not here to bash on either one, i just happened to have the rare opportunity to see both kits being installed at the same time and because of the difficulty's with one the other seemed 100 times better. heard rumors about both but in by experience i would most defiantly go with Exospeed.

Thanks for all the replies. I didnt mean to start a flame war, but i will definately will be goin with the exospeed front end. There arent as many people doing integras as there are civics so my wait shouldnt be as long as it would be for a civic front end.

Our kits are not only 2 inches wider , but 2 inches lower to compensate for the ride height of a 15 inch wheel. Would be silly to go wider and not lower the front to deflect air...
Joedirte heres the kit that you said that does not fit...lol

well i thought i made myself fairly clear by stating i wasn't intending to bash on anyone... i suppose the average guy can't have an opinion, but that's beside's the point.
kit looks great, you wouldn't happen to have a side view of it would you, perhaps a picture of the fender an wheel?

Re: Exospeed front end vs strada front end
if i didnt find my exospeed kit local i would of went with the strada. the exospeed one i have fits very well. but the strada also looks very very good IMO. but i havent been able to see one in person.
but my tuner has been waiting for his 3 peice front end for over a year from exospeed. so personally i wouldnt wanna do buiseness with them because of a possible waiting time like that id rather run stock then pay someone that much money and be given the run around on it.

I dunno. I didnt have the wait time that everyone talks about. Maybe a month or two? I love my Exospeed front.
And these were pictures of the front end that Strada wanted me to send a down payment for... Thats what made me wait for Exospeed to make theirs:
That sums up my experience, and why I made the decision I made.

Re: Exospeed front end vs strada front end
Just got around to fitting the front bumper up on my Exospeed EF front. It fit just like any other fiberglass bumper. ALOT of massaging and cutting and sanding. Seems like the molding process was a lil ifffy. The bumpers and fenders OVERALL were smooth but there was ALOT of pin holes in the glass. I would say on an overall rating of fiberglass parts, i would give it around a 7-10. Oh one last thing. The driver side fender was perfect but the passenger side fender need some grinding and sanding to make fit like the other side.

I've also seen both in 26inch flavor. I'll hold comments on the strada but i was blown away by the quality of fitment on Exospeed's example. It had me laughing as we were putting it on to the car because of how easily it just went together. If i were to get a front end for my car it would be Exospeed. Also the Exospeed front end I'm refferring to arrived two weeks after it was ordered.

Re: Exospeed front end vs strada front end
I mean OVERALL it fit ok and i could have left it the way it was but why get a FACTORY looking front end if ur gonna have big gaps under the light or the bumper doesn't does fit right against the fender. Some of the edges were pointy instead of round. Like i said its a typical fiberglass part. From the reviews people were giving about the front end fitments i was going into the install like i didn't need to do to much work but it was far from a little tweaking.

Re: Exospeed front end vs strada front end
We've been selling lots of Strada kits lately and have heard nothing but good things. We tell EVERY customer that they should have a body shop familiar with fiberglass work hang it. Strada AND Will are not major operations like the companies that OE panels. I've seen both brands of kits hung, fitted, modified, etc... NUMEROUS times. We've also used BOTH brands of kits. We had an exospeed front end that required a TON of work to fit. We ended up switching to Strada because of customer service and his current designs fit very well. Sometimes a front end may need little fiberglass work to line up perfectly but theres nothing wrong with that. They're making these front ends by hand and at $850 SHIPPED for a bumper and 2 fenders, I think it's a GREAT deal even if/when you need some fiberglass work done. There are going to be fans on both sides and people hating on both sides. I hate threads like this because everyone has an opinion based on a very narrow observation. If you saw 1 strada kit vs 1 exo front end being installed, I don't think your qualified to make accurate judgments on both companies line of products. Maybe out of just those 2 kits one was better, or maybe for that exact chassis one company has a better fitting front end than the other. They make these things by hand with molds guys. I personally like the look of Strada kits better because I think they look more OEM. I'm also not crazy about the way the flares are on the Exo.

Re: Exospeed front end vs strada front end
Just got my Strada front end, Big thanks to Chris Miller and Steve over at Powerhouse for a killer deal on the front. Thanks to Strada for a great product this kit fits amazing this is just a mock up, the kit is just clamped on with tiny c clamps no cutting grinding or body work done. My vote is with Strada for quality and ease of installation
Dont mind the hood lol it's seen better days, saving the new hood for after the paint job

Re: Exospeed front end vs strada front end
i recieved my strada in like 2 weeks. after fitment it was decent. some sanding but not much. im not gonna bash anyones frontend because even if they arent perfect your a$$'s wouldnt have a widened frontend if it wasnt for them, unless you took the time/money to make your own.

Re: Exospeed front end vs strada front end
you know i love how people constantly bash WIL for taking 6-8 weeks sometimes for delivery but no one ever bitches about the on going SLOW *** sleeving company or companies taking 6-8 weeks. The slowness usually happens when he is out of stock waiting on a new batch of forged wheels to come in from the manufacturer. have you guys actually TRIED to communicate with him to really get an update or information before flying off the handle on HT?

Re: Exospeed front end vs strada front end
i have seen a bunch of threads about exospeed being slow with 3-peice front ends like 3-6months slow....not 3-6weeks
quality is great but from what i've read is that he needs help in his shop.... i know greasemonkey89 on d-series.org used to work there and is still close to wil and usually mediates any issues that arise....
to date nobody has been scammed by exospeed and they do eventually get there order....but it just looks like it may be the begining of his company failing, shows signs of going out of business which he very well may not be and business may be great, but at some point you have to get some hired help before you lose it all
nobody bashes wil for taking 6-8 weeks when they are told it will take 6-8 weeks....its when wil says it will ship in 1-2 weeks and 2-3 months later they still dont have it.

Re: Exospeed front end vs strada front end
I was told last week he had trouble with a new shipping company so my front would be on its way this week. Hoping to see it soon!
That being said, I ordered my front end the end of December. I understand it takes a while, but our track is going to be open in less than a few weeks and I have since sold my OEM front... Mocking other stuff up is a little more difficult when we don't know what kind of clearances we have to work with.
