no they changed to sats the street nites use to be a good time and drawl a hudge crowd. there doin sumtin like the street nites the 1st sat of the month with no trailer drags and a few other classes but its not really directed towards imports

well of course it wouldn't be directed towards imports. they're way too biased down there. one of the times i went down last year, my friend was watching from the side for each of my runs. he kept standing in the same place each time around the same people. my first run as i was staging, the guys around him were talkin **** cuz i was in an import, sayin it won't make it down the track, it'll be slow, blah blah blah. my first two runs we slow (street tires, never ran on track before). but as soon as i bolted on slicks, i dropped over a full second. the guys continued to run the mouth, though not quite as much. then i dropped into the 12's and they were silent. not a word. my friend just smirked at them and walked away. i know 12's isn't fast these days, but my car showed steady improvement every time i ran that night and i feel that is what shut the guys up. i'm just sick of them not accepting that we can do it too. it gets old. we're doing the same thing, just with a different platform.

but i'm done with that rant. i'll def try to make a few of the saturday nights this year
