Re: DSR Motorsports rebirth thread
i got a few more bars added today. Woohoo! The last of the floor bars are in, just got to weld the bottom side. That will be the end of the hard part and the rest should go pretty quick. i also got the lower dash bar in.

looking good danny, hows the clearance for the shift linkage? i have never been under a car with the long/T1/gforce setup? it looks like it would be really close for the rest of us.

Why go threw the effort of making the chassis heavier when your almost a second from needing the extra cage unless the car is underweight with the 10 point?

Also, the cage requirement is for MPH as well. With the mph the cars are running and with what I plan on running, what's wrong with wanting to be safe. I can tell you that after almost hitting the wall at 115mph last year, safety is a huge thing for me.

Re: DSR Motorsports rebirth thread
I am doing a major overhaul on the whole car. Trust me, it will not be almost a second from needing it when it is done. The car will not be overweight. I am going to great lengths to make sure it is right at min weight. Besides, the car was up for a re-cert this year. How about I am doing it cause I can?

Anyways, keep the pics coming! Good luck with everything! Hope you can get it done on time! All this hard work will pay off in the end!

Re: DSR Motorsports rebirth thread
did u test fit the dash at all with that bar up that high?
tried it like that with the acura & didnt like it, went right through the cluster area & i had plans for that spot.
went under the steering about 3 inches. & tacked little braces to the steering to hold it stout.
might work with your honda.
