Re: (200TS EC)
Stock 18NE engine and X20XEV head (European Ecotec), Iasa 86,5mm forged pistons and Crower Rods.
The EFI is Fuel Tech, uses a Garret .50 turbo, 225 Advan 032 tyres...the et is 12.1 in the 1/4m.
Could be better, but was the forst time on track...more problems than we could ever imagine. Next year there's more.

Nice car man...really similar, even the colour. But mine is not GSi.
You are from RSA? I read somewhere on the net that someone at your place run 9.5 on a Kadett...that's what we are planning for 08.

It's something like 600 miles far from São Paulo.
And the VW pick-up is FWD, it's based on the VW Gol, a car a bit smaller than the Golf, produced here.

9.54 from that orange car is scootin. It would be interesting to see what it would do on one of our tracks with rubber all the way down.
BTW....you guys have GREAT steaks down there Not as tender as ours...but the flavor is unbelievable

Yes, nitrous become very used here since street cars started to face the clock on the track. The truck is from other state, was here for the event but couldn't clock better times than 8.8...went all over the place less straight.

Puma GTB, that's right. GM 6 cil 4.1 engine, this one is turbo. Couldn't mark in the 12's, but with very poor grip, he was afraid of put his M/T and broke the gearbox or something else. He said next time he will use it.

It's not towards Rio de Janeiro, it's to the south, the southern state in Brasil.

Re: (h2b_eg8)
Nice pics. It's unbelivable that we have all that space in Brasil but no one has yet built a decent track out there. How come none of the FWD cars use slicks?

Re: (Adriano)
But we have decent tracks..the track in "Santa Cruz do Sul" is one. Also, is being build the Velopark, the first NHRA aproved track outside US here in the state too. In 2008 will be finished.
Sure the pavement, grip and treatment of the actual tracks wich actually are circuits straights aren't equal to the ones in US, but it's ok, is all getting much better in drag racing around here.
And those cars don't use use slicks because they are mainly street cars on the track, just a few are real race cars.
