CO RaceFab sfwd EF
hey guys I have never posted much on here but I figured I would share a bit from our project car. first here are some pics of when the car was basic.
these are circa 2006ish
this is how I received the car a buddy owned it at the time.
after we cleaned it up and made it drivable
gsr swap
basic kit
2008 at this point the car made around 550hp and ran 10.9x-11.0 regularly
around 2010 we started to get a little more serious about it nothing to crazy
at this point the car had run countless 10.0-10.1 passes and in 2011 it went 9.93@156mph... at the end of our 2011 season we decided to take the car down to the bones and rebuild it from the ground up focusing primarily on chassis setup being that the car is an ef.
after we did most of the chassis stuff i.e. stitch welding, glue stripping rail boxing, blah blah blah we moved the shop and we set this car aside and focused on our eg for a few years.
flash forward to spring 2014
after fighting numerous problems all last year we finally got some stuff figured out last week and were able to make a decent pass I think if I can remember how to drive and pull a little power here and there we will be in there.
feel free to ask any questions you may have I just thought I would share a little bit of our journey if you would like to see more from this car or our others check out our social media pages in my sig. thanks for looking!

Re: CO RaceFab sfwd EF
Saw this car years ago when it was still white (ifo Vegas)
Looks so damn nasty right now! Great work fellas and tasty pass with the 9.16..... Looks like it's getting out pretty good. What suspension are you running on it?

Haven't had this one out to Vegas you might have seen our eg out there though. it is on function for type 2s right now it actually went 1.53 earlier in the day and it still has a slight bog out of the hole so I'm trying to get that worked out but it just goes to show that an ef can be setup right.... thanks for the kind words guys.

looks awesome man! love to see guys proving the EF chassis can hang with the more common chassis's. Whats your crossmember/trac bar setup if you don't mind sharing? any weight added up front.
Basically just need chassis hints to get this old girl into the low 1.5's lol

the cross member is one we made in house with the innovative radius rods, from everything we have built and or tryed they seem to be the best there are some decent pics of it on my facebook page... the car has a 73/27 weight split and is still a little light 2230lbs so definitely front heavy.

I have tried it all lol this setup works well because it's setup right we aren't pulling the wheels forward or anything like that just some good rods and spherical bushings with the proper shock setup... this car is on a ppg 4.4 gear set with libertys case.

Must have been another white Ef from CO......I just remember it running (around 2011) with no front bumper, but must not have been yours.
Regardless, serious props on a sick short track with a relatively simple setup.
