Bump shifting
OK, so my 07 Civic LX runs 10.51 average right now (1/8 mile track; only mod is K&N air filter; full interior; tranny shifts itself since it's a 5-spd auto). Does bump shifting cut down a little on ETs? I don't expect a big difference; just enough to make comparisons without tearing up a tranny.

Re: Bump shifting (#1 Sailor Scout)
When I race an auto Honda, I let it shift itself. You should try it, but I dont think it will help out mech, Plus if you let it shift itself you will be more consistant and that counts in brecket racing.
