BOTI OR. Woodburn 9/19 roll call

Re: BOTI OR. Woodburn 9/19 roll call
After all that I'm having to do to get back in this one, it would be a real bummer to have it rain. Woodburn does have the weird rain shadow effect at times, so if we all just hope for the best.......

We should stop talking and thinking about it, maybe the forecast will get better! We are working way to hard to get cars ready for bad weather to spoil it.

I'll still do it in the rain, I'm no sissy girl. Just gonna peel out a bit more and maybe need the wall for support other than that Myles can buff out any damages.

Re: BOTI OR. Woodburn 9/19 roll call
Thanks guys!... but there's just SO much left in the car, we're really only getting started. It feels good, but when you really break it down the next pass shoulda gone 8's... damn linkage, then a fuel leak. Easy fix, and a few changes this week, really looking forward to next weekend. Transmission is holding up perfectly!
The car usually goes 1.5 60 ft. but that pass was only a 1.688 60ft, and it still weighs 2300 lbs. The only changes between the 9.5ish runs and the 9.1 were stiffer front springs (and a few hours spent cornerweighting yesterday), spool, and 10" wide wheels instead of the 8" wide (same tires). And this is with a stock, unported cylinder head.

Good job Reid, running 9.1's with a sixty like that is definitely a good sign. Graig vs Reid in the Hotrod cars sounds like a great race!
I forsee a lot of 8sec passes this weekend.

I really regret not having my cage certed a couple weeks ago, but I didn't think my car would be ready in time..now it's not ready, but only cause of the cage...oh well I will be there supporting the sport and the fastest street car in the west.

wth you talkin about? we can get cages certed same day by just making a phone call over to Dennis at the NHRA office. When I had Brians evo at speedfactory getting the exhaust done, we called Dennis and he showed up a couple hours later and threw a $220 sticker on it haha.
