Re: Bisimoto's 1004hp 2012 Civic Coupe
I just got done checking out Bisi's new civic coupe thats makes 1004hp!! It looks like a work of art from the vinyl wrap to the sheetmetal spoiler and the chute hanging off the back. Does anyone know what class he will be competing in? I've search but was not able to find any info regarding 1/4 mile ETs.

Car gets alot of press because its"Bisi" ....the car has a single clutch / small pump / and that turbo aint making 1004 even on a dyno with training wheels. It no different then the CR-z that never did anything ... if they were going to race it he would have at one of the 3 events we have had in Cali that is less then 10 minutes from his shop.

As much as I love seeing people finally call him out, it will never happen. People actually believe he's designing cam profiles and injectors, and making crazy power, etc. He's not going to willingly accept a dose of reality, publicly. It's not good for his business. Reality isn't a part of his business model.
Note: Hes been "being called out " For a good hot minute. From a variety of fronts... Dudes done much for the sport. That I respect. Nice guy, smart businessman, other than that unfortunately the insight is about the only thing that really does any talking... IMO at least. The numbers of that D wagon, the CRZ and now this? Paleeeeeeeze...
Best go repair those broken headers, Provide cam spec sheets to people who ARE considering your **** (Its not super secret dude, and Id want to know before I bought anything- no ones gonna try and copy what youve copied... well maybe thats not so much true)... And maybe answer up to the injector questions too...
Wait, im just a "hatter"...
lulz

But in all honesty, didn't he actually used to race his F series and D series cars on a somewhat consistent basis or did he just build them, ran the times and parked them?

Bisi is successful what he is doing, can't hate on the guy he is treating it as business! if Honda give you guys a car and money to built a car, i'm sure everyone in there will jump on it? will we ever see Bisi racing again? maybe not? does he have to? probabaly not? I don't think Honda requried him to do so.

I loved his CR-Z build also. This is the only video I could find of it at the track

and an awesome burnout in his 724hp wagon

From a business perspective, you race to gain legitimacy and exposure. He has the exposure via every major sport compact publication out there. The majority of the readers of those magazines don't care, nor have a clue about what goes on on this site or others out there. They don't know that he's not actually designing cam profiles, or headers, or injectors. The magazines say Bisi is great and builds million HP cars/engines, has 98 engineering degrees and designs a whole line of these amazing products, Bisi says the same thing to them over the phone and through e-mails. To the average magazine reading consumer out there, that's gospel. He has no reason to deviate from that model. It works for him. It's obvious that he prefers money over his personal reputation. If that weren't the case, he'd be on this site making sure his reputation didn't take the nose dive it has been taking lately.
