It's also a good idea to run 14"wheels up front so you can have more tire hx wheels ftw

Youve never run either one... Der... I mean, the 235s are on there now... but you dont know son.

B series TQ wont annihilate The M&Hs short of >500 WHP in third. With the pressure dropped in them they do nasty things with just a little heat in them.

They hook my **** up in third solid with 15 Psi in them making 520/385. Id say around 400 ish in second... 5th gear spins them at 750 WHP, but I make 575 Tq at that level. Also, My box is SHORT, 5th is 1:1. Ive been running them for 3 years, theyre the only tires the front of my car sees, WAY better than the MTs as mentioned, and I drive it every day its sunny out.

I daily them at 17 PSI and drop them to 11-12 on the weekends. With that air in them they hook 450 in second SOLID, and as mentioned, my POS makes some TQ, with short gears, but Ive spent alot of time ****ing with the suspension to get it to hook like it does on the street. For how heavy it is and the po3wer it makes it hooks pretty ****in good

I agree with the 14" rim statement, IF you can swing it... But I cant fit 14s over the Big brakes on the front

You need a 235/60 to hook with over 500whp no matter what. I like the 235/60 M&H and MT. Obviously the M&H hook better though.

What size rim is needed (including offset) to run a 255/60R15 on a EG? I have a set of S2K rims, but I think the offset is going to be a problem for me even with wheel spacers. Plus they are only 7.5" wide...

This is the next up coming tire, the AWD cars love it. As long as you have room for the tire, it will BITE!!!

im not at this power level yet. But loving the talk about the rock 14s. I cant find anyone that wants to sell some HX wheels. I should have never sold the EK optional wheels i had that were 14s.

So for a 14in rim would a 215/60 or 225/60 tire? I have two sets of 14in steelies one of which is on my car. And im looking for some good tires to order to put up front.

I have had a set of 215-60-14's and they were great for my car with mid 300's. M&H makes a 235-60-14 and I suspect that would be a kick *** tire for a 14" wheel. Just be sure you have a nice/wide wheel to use.

How wide are the Accord steelies you are running? The stock civic steelies are only 14x5J. That 235 seems really wide for that 5 inch wheel.

Yeah, I need to find at least a 6" wide 14" steelie. I would love to run the 235/60/14's on stock 94 EX hubcaps. Would be an eye opener on the street. I already have my track setup sorted out, but a decent tire for the street would make daily driving all the more fun.
