seen this on evom, very impresive on a pte billet 62... although I wont be hunting for big numbers like this, I have a 6265 on the way to try on my motor.

I cant believe they made 3 passes before getting the boot... they will send you packing at the tracks here in an instant for **** like that way past the limit with no bar at least. at best its 1 warning then your gone. the whole thing with no cage got started by bushur with his RS, for some reason his local track turns a blind eye to him (well his driver) running without time and time agian (probably cause he bring a good turnout to them with the dsm shootout).

good stuff to awd crew though, crispeed, etc! cant knock the numbers... 785awhp i think at 40+psi... hell of a tune up on e85.

It was a track rental day so they were a little more lenient. The 1st pass was done very early so no one took notice. After the second pass the warning came not to take it pass the 1000ft mark so knowing the third would probably be the last we went for it.
The car is done now for any tracks in SFL.

My local track is pretty easy on the safety equipment, I know a guy that had a PVC pipe cage in his car for 5 years and they never even noticed it, I just went 11.01 @ 137 without one safety device and they didnt say anything to me either.......

8's in a "pump gas" equipped EVO is dirtyyyyyy.... congrads

if you are talking about cecil, they bitched at me for not having a full face helmet. had 5 layer pants, jacket, neck collar, brand new harnesses, and gigged me for that. cecil is hit or miss.

Since when does a cage make it not a street car?

i dont think the sc6262 can make 950. I seen the turbo and its nothing bigger than an sc61 looking turbo. i guess the new 6262's can make alot of power. Anybody know what they are rated at?

If it made that much it would be low 8's for sure!

The best it have done was 784whp/600wtq at 47-48psi dropping to 44-45psi by redline.

since I feel unsafe on the streets if i dont wear my helmet.. Id rather wear my helmet at the track w/o a cage then street drive a caged car.. just my personal thoughts on my own safety.. Riding a motorcycle anywhere in south florida with a helmet on is 10x more unsafe than running 8's in this evo at the track.. again just my .02..

As if being in a car w/o cage is leaving your head better off .

There are members in here that daily there cars and been hit by drunk drivers and praise their cage for keeping them from getting crushed.

You hit your head on the cage without a helmet and you are dead. I see ******** putting their kids in the back of a car with a cage and I can't believe that ****...it should be illegal.

Who cares about the cage? It isn't your ***, it is his.

exact reason why I wont put a 10pt in my street car, but I will roll around with an 8pt and harnesses, as long as you have the proper padding around the contact area's of the cage and your harnessed in it should be safe IMO

Not something i want to debate.. Everyone has different opinions.. there are DOT articles about how unsafe it is to drive in a car w/ a cage and no helmet.. if you get hit low speed you crush your head on the cage.. a roll bar is one thing, a cage is dangerous for a car that sees a lot of street use.. 3 passes at the track vs. 1000's of miles on the street.. ill take the gamble.. you can ride a motorcycle w/o a helmet on the street by law.. that too me is unsafe.
