I had an A1000 on my car and bought my buddies used Pro Series Aeromotive pump just cause it was a direct replacement and it was cheap. In doing so, i had to add about 6% more fuel in boost to get it back to where the A1000 AFR's were. The Pro pump has about 30-40 passes on it using Q16 and about 15 on it using VP Import. He upgraded to a MagnaFuel pump. I wouldnt think i should have to add fuel being the Pro series is a higher volume pump. Anyone have input on this?

Ive used one since 2010 with e85. It had previously only been on q16 from previous owner and it was DESTROYED internally when i got it. He didn't know and covered the cost. The Aeromotive guy asked me WTF it was being used for and the fuel...he had rarely ever seen so much damage.

anyways. Mine has pushed me 160mph so far without maxing out.

What was it doing when you got it? Its working fine, just thought it was weird that i had to add fuel.

sounded like someone poured a bag of nuts and washers down in it...it ran for about 10 seconds and locked up.

i went from a a1000 to the pro series and got alot more fuel from the pro series

yeah...i talked to Aeromotive. They said i should have had to pull about 15-20% out, not add 5% lol. Too good to be true i guess. Back off it comes.

Filters are good. Put the A1000 back on and had to take back out the 5% lol. Pump is just hurt.
