Hum, I live in Bountiful, I'll have to keep an eye out for you.

Sweet time.

I saw that motor out at Cort's, I was wondering what car it was going to go in.

Very Impressive! Did you have traction issues in 2nd and 3rd gear on the run that you posted?

the motor is built to rev to 9000 but the msd is shutting the car off a 8200 so cortney just tuned it to there. some day he will rev to 9000.

was it ever tuned to the max on pump gas?
just curious what a build like this could do on pump

also...congrats on the car...it's badass to see a 4 cylinder do 500whp...specially when it's as much as an underdog as the SOHC D's are......looks like some ppl are finally doing new things..so refreshing

This was one of my favorite cars ive ever built. We were just going to do a simple setup and build a 12 second car. As the project progressed it got pretty crazy.

Here ar the fully detailed specs with what we ended up with.

D16Z6 Block with Exospeed Sleeves
Eagle rods
75.5mm off the shelf Wiesco pistons reworked and sanded.
D16Z6 cylinder head Ported here in UT by Pro machine. Please dont call them. If you need head work please contact me.
Zex camshaft Part# 59300
Iskey springs and retainers
ARP head studs
GE intake manifold, ported also
Custom top mount manifold built by Jasen Penman
SC61 with an S cover, .63 ar 76 trim.
Custom 3 inch downpipe and exhaust
Tial 38mm gate
Turbo xs dual stage boost controller
880cc injectors
255 walbro pump
Neptune
Neptune
Neptune
Neptune
Neptune
Neptune......
Max boost was 29psi on the same 112 octane fuel I use in my car

OBX diff
DSS axles
CM stage 20 or something, I dont know. lol, It has a full face iron disc.

If I forgot something please ask.
