Allmotor eg what size slicks
I need help in choosing a slick size for my car. The engine is allmotor pushing 235 hp and 162 lbs torque. I have a gsr transmission with a kazz lsd. What size of slick should i be using?

ya i'd do the 22x8 also. but if you are on a GSR trans, diff final drive, high RPM shift point like 9500rpm, you may need to go with a 23x8

I would go with a 23 anyway; You can lower the psi in the tire all you want with the 22's; but what if you spin them? your beat for tires. I'd go with a 23 and if they're too tall; mess with the tire psi.
Also check out a tire/gear calculator.

While im not necessarily disagreeing with you in this circumstance you also cant take just slick size into account for traction. I mean just moving up in a slick size may help you not spin as much but doesnt mean it necessarily will go as fast or as quick... suspension setup, spring rates, etc all need to be accounted into it . Hell Richie Gibson used to run low 11s in his crx on 22s and i know he was making a lot more than 235......

Yeah no doubt; he just threw out a basic information; and I tried to give him the best answer; if he doesn't give us the most information; i'll give him the best I can.
Spring rates; Rev limit; Gearing; are all factors of tire size and traction.

I have omni sport suspension 12k in front 10k in the rear. Stock gsr tranny. Should i order the 18k for the rear will it make a diference from 10k?

22s for sure. I think the smaller diameter tire will make up for the longer gear ratio in your tranny. I know lots of peeps in my crew running 22s with close to the same hp and running 11.2 and 11.3s all day. in CRXs though.

We're making the same horsepower with a little less torque and we're running 23" M & H's and they work great. We 60 ft in the low 1.6's. so these should be good for you too. 22"s are too small , especially with your torque numbers. You'll be spinnin 'em.

Remember, he is using a GSR tranny... He didnt specify what FD, so we can assume its a 4.4 FD... If he was on a 4.785 FD then I would say 23's...

Probably high-11s if the power was made on an accurately reading Dynojet, and of course you can drive it...
