9.48@161.8 in my Ratchet Neon
Got a chance to make some clean hits at a recent SRT-4/Neon/Caliber event. The car is turd out of the hole with the 7285 on it, even with a 75shot. WIth the S467 and a 50 shot it cut consistent low 1.5 60s and a best of 1.48, now a low 1.6 is a shock. But it'll come around with a better converter. Still happy to see the car making steam on the big end and at only a peak boost of 40-41psi, which isn't much of anything on this turbo. Right now the car leaves slow then when the boost hits it shocks the tires basically always right around the 1/2 shift. I'll get it figured out though.
Setup:
Aluminum rod 2.4
10.5:1 pistons
Crane 24 cams
8 FIC 1650s
AMM FAB center feed intake manifold
Wilson 105mm TB
PTE GEN2 7285
Garrett 1200hp core
3 speed auto with reinforced case and lots of billet parts and unlocked converter
On a borrowed head that's a friends that has been hand ported as I wait for mine to get done
Pump E85 fuel
Boost Leash time based boost controller
Haltech PS 1000
Weight is 2400lbs
Right now I'm turning 8800 and at 8650 or so through the traps in 3rd at that speed. I'm afraid to push my friends head any further since it was never built for so many RPM's.
We built the wing, modified the front bumper to help with aero and did all the fab work aside from the intake manifold and cage (I hate doing cages). The hood is shimmed to clear the 2.4 VC and to work with the mounts I built that has the engine sitting up further. The wing helped SUBSTANTIALLY with stability on shut down as before it would being going mid to high 120's through the 1/8th and when I let off it would get squirly. Now shutting down at 160+ it didn't wobble at all and I did use the shoot to slow down either. We did the engine too and I tuned it.
Looking forward to a good converter and cutting A LOT off the short track ET.

Nice build. You can tell there was a lot of work done. Always nice to see a fast FWD non-Honda. lol
Any vids? How much power do you think it's making off nitrous?

The nitrous is only used in 1st to get the car going. I let off as soon as the boost comes in.
As for power not sure. I have a Dyno dynamics Dyno and it made 608@34psi and on 35psi letting off a few feet early it went 9.68@151.

No. This head was done by a guy I my buddy knows in Michigan. The guy works out of his garage. My new head will be +1 bigger on valves than this head and have better seats and springs, if the thing ever gets here. I'll feel better turning it higher if needed then.
