Badass times for a simple setup. I'm more surprised you squeezed 900+ out of a s366 with the billet wheel. Doesn't it usually run out of steam south of 800?

Can't thank Darnell enough for believing in the process and taking it as far as he has. With a beautiful car!!!

Where does Darnell rank??

William Hess 9.12ET
R&R Racing 9.14ET
Darnell 9.15ET

BUT!!! We all know MPH is the true show of HP and he ranks #1 with a 170MPH pass!!! On a 66mm!!!

As for pricing on the product. We feel $325 ($700ish savings) is a fair price for a process which has proven to be a BETTER solution than sleeves at or under 700wHP(most applications). So 1/3 the price, lower combustion temps and no worries about sinking/leaking sleeves is not amazing???

Our machining prices are inline for Southern, NH and while we do an excellent job, you are always welcome to use your local machine shop for finish machine work. It will not affect the process or the guarantee.

Would love to do this on a spare block I have!
Trick Eng,
Does the 325 include decking as well? I assume it must be decked afterwards. Or is decking usually done after the final hone? Does it matter?
I see you rated B20 blocks at 400 whp which is still bad ***, but what stops them from making as much as the other 81mm bore b series blocks? Bigger bore = weaker sleeve?
even with the CSS system?

Decking is additional.

B20 cylinders are weak because of there siemese cylinder design. The cast iron between the cylinders is very brittle.

Most of us will never have enough HP to outgrow the CSS. I was very happy with the end product and the turn around time. CSS FTW.

Not to de-rail your thread, but is that 366 just off the shelf? or any work done to is as far as ported, or billet wheel? etc... Thanks

Had a chance to meet Darnell Saturday at OSW. Super cool dude. He answered a bunch of questions on the setup of both his cars and gave me some good advice on my own build. He's also a great salesman for CSS, but I think the numbers speak for themselves. I hope to see him go 8s this season. Good luck Darnell.

I know this thread is old and dead, but does anyone know what compression ratio this setup was? I am upgrading this year from my sleeved 82mm B16A to a CSS 82mm B18C block and possibly changing from C16 to E85. want to up my compression this year as well to around 10.0 or 10.5:1. just wanna see whats already worked for people
