Got a new gsr trans installed and we touched the tune up last night and also got the aem drag anti lag set up and boost by speed.

Re: 66mm street car eg build
4th gear broke on the first trans and I just put a new 4th gear set in and then broke 3rd and now on the gsr trans with no cuff instead of the ls trans. And I was running around 25psi but just dropped them to 18psi after some tuning last night. Started to just roast the tires at 140 in 4th.

Re: 66mm street car eg build
Well since the gsr trans has been put in, it's been holding great. We also turned boost up to 27psi now. Figured I'd share some pictures of it. Took best Honda/Acura at a car show last weekend and tomorrow we will be going to the track.
Also picked up a new toy

Re: 66mm street car eg build
Well made it out to the track but it was so busy I could only get 2 passes in. This was the first time I've had the car to the track, so still have some stuff to work out.
We were thinking the car would have major traction issues with how cold it's been here and on the street tires, so we had lowered the boost down in each gear and launch control was set kind of low for the track. Ended up just dead hooking and bogging in 1st and just hooked every gear. Unfortunately Jason couldn't make it out so couldn't make any adjustments to the car but still managed a 11.5 pass at 132mph.
Here is a video of the pass. sorry for the quality, my buddy recored it with his phone.

Got the car out this weekend to play with some bikes. Still only on 24-25psi. One is a zx14 on nitrous and the other is a 1300 busa.

Re: 66mm street car eg build
Well I'm going to be selling the hatch shell along with some other things to go bigger and better. Here is a sneak peak at the new shell
I'll be making a new build thread once I get things going on it.

Did you have to crank the coilovers all the way up to get those 235's to fit? I'm thinking of stepping up to the 235/60 radials for my re-build. Car looks great, pulls pretty strong to hang with a 'busa.
