Default From .64 to .96 AR less power?

I switched from .64 to .96 on my 6766 and feel really less power before 7500rpm.
I didn't try past 8200rpm yet
Is it normal?

I have B18C aebs , B16 head with ferrea springs and valves.

What is maximum RPM to hit?

oh my god..

Where do I begin..

What cams? How much boost and power? Did you tune after you installed the new housing?

You do realise that ferrea makes more then one type of b-series springs.?

well since you increased the volume of the housing(exhaust im assuming), you will have a significant amount of less power and lag in the lower rpm's at the same boost pressure and assuming everything else is the same.

there are methods to increase spool time and power in the rpm boundaries you are wanting but it just wont be the same as your .64 housing that you were previously running.

going from .64 to .96 is a large change in volume so yes, i believe it is normal in your situation

Tried today 9500 RPM with 30 PSi (Q16 Fuel)
It feels very better but less than 0.64 with same pressure.
Tuned has been done correctly.

Do you have an idea?
Usually in Drag Racing, racers run big A/R,

They also usually have really big motor setups to spool that big of a housing quickly. And are constantly at high rpms to do so.

OP: Is this a purpose built race car that is having problems or is this a street car?

Are you using a dyno or just think it feels slower?
