Correct, looking to use the 2RZ (2.4 from Toyota) stroked to make t 2.7L mated up to a MR2 trans., in a Celica FWD chassis...

Engine will be 95.5mm bore and 93mm. stroke. This is the shorter deck height version of the engine that Scott Kelley, Kenny Tran, and Chris Rado run. It'll look a little different without all the fancy belt drive conversion and OEM oil pump. Hopefully it'll be close to the big K-series and F-series guy's are running in Civic's?

Our displacement tool is good for 100mm bore so it should be fine on the engine side.

I Pm'd you my number to talk about a few things. As long as the other racers don't have a problem with the chassis, then I would say its fine.

Sounds like it should be okay! This class has raised the bar so much over the past couple years, it'll be quite an accomplishment just to qualify with a non-Honda car... But everyone has to have goals, right?

I can tell you one thing, I'll be crossing my fingers that the chain tensioner and oil pump are up to the task! I've always used a timing belt belt conversion and drysump on this engine family when running over 8000RPM...

Spoke to a lot of racers and they all have no problem allowing the toyota to run.

He has agreed that It will have a minimum weight of 2150lbs.
