Re: 2013/ EK Drag Build
Yeah last time I was out, I was getting in the 1.5X 60's. However I am on a 9" wide Weld, with my 24.5 x 8.5 M&H's that are about 14 months old. In the future I will be getting a M&H 9.5" wide slick so that should help me out.
I had a drag alignment done about 8 months ago so we are good there, never did a corner balance and traction bar was taken off already. I think if I had a 10" wide wheel with 9.5" wide M&H's it would be a consistent 1.5 60ft car all day.
Getting below a 1.5 on a turbo Honda is pretty hard. Not too many guys do that with the exception of the really fast guys. If I could get consistent mid 1.5's I would be happy with that.

You've done a great deal to get good proven parts and components installed on this car and I know you are leaving some on the table with the wheels and tires right now.

Do you think there was a big improvement with the line off the oil pan? I have been thinking about doing the same thing. Do you also have 2 lines going off the back of the block to the catch can?

Yes I think there is a difference. I personally don't have data on my car to say it makes a difference but guys like Locash and TSR both run the same thing on their cars and monitor crank pressure with Motec. So I know it makes a difference but Joe may be able to speak up on how much of a benefit you would see.

Wow man your on the move,
You staying with the same intercooler or starting from scratch? 3" piping right
Btw that a killer price you got on the old manifold should go fast.

I had some back pressure issues with the T3 setup so it was a must to go with the t4 setup. I was actually going to buy this off my friend but skipped because we didn't know we would run into back pressure issues.
So instead of playing with what I had, I said F*** it.

Still loving this build. Grats on the 9 second pass... definitely more left in it from the 60ft standpoint. 9.70's seem very realistic without much change at all.

Re: 2013/ EK Drag Build
Well it's been a while since I posted up some stuff. Anyways, everything was back together with the new T4 top mount, got the new downpipe, dump tube all done. Added some sensors and a few other little goodies but had a little trouble on the dyno with my fina drive and bell housing.
Anyways got rid of my little tow dolly from the 80's and bought a new trailer so I can finally make my way out of town to some events. 18 foot Carson trailer with 4 foot dove and 6 foot ramps. This thing is so much better than the dang car dolly.
Here is some pictures of how everything has basically come together with the new parts. I will add some new pictures to get some better shots. The pictures are a little dark but I will get some better ones and add them up.
I also sold off all my gauges and SI cluster so I can get something a lot better to help monitor everything and just go for a clearner look at the same time eliminating all the extra wiring and junk.
Then the car was on the dyno and here is what happened to the fina drive and bell housing.
So once everything came apart the Liberty Face Plated gears still looked great after 1.5 years, a couple thousand miles, probably 50+ dyno pulls and 50 hits at the track. So I found a replacement counter shaft and ring gear and replaced my bell housing with this bad boy.

I sold the traction control unit. I think that the unit is good for street use but at the track I would never get to use it because during testing in first no matter if I set the slip to the lowest setting, it just pulled to much timing out.
