I'm running a filter but the exhaust goes out the dp, through a flexpipe, and behind the driver. It's not that bad and I still take road trips in it

Nope it's not that loud really. My friends STI with Blitz exhaust is louder than mine.

Yeah, I believe it. It's not hard to do on slicks. Seen it far too often, but how about 12 second runs on street tires? You don't see a cobra run 12s on slicks, that's for sure. Not hating, I mean congrats and all, but I would rather run the 12 sec 1/4 mile time on street tires myself.

on the car and to the owner.

OVIS is the ohio valley import series. It's held at Ohio valley in louisville the 2nd I believe. I hear there is some faster cars this time so it should be a good show. The quick 8 needed a 7.9 to qualify last time which isn't bad!

damn you to hell I've raced against matt many times, his car is a plan example of KISS. I've only managed a 12.09@115 with my built b18c1 and here is matt kicking my *** every other month at OVIS.

I've seen his car many times run into deep 7s in the 1/8th, so i believe the 11's. I'm thinking about switching over to 22in slicks for the next ovis, just to get out of the whole quicker. Well that and the fact that I may be switching over to a b16 tranny over my gsr tranny, just depends if the new diff and bearings get in with enough time for me to rebuilt the tranny and drop it in the hatch.

Here's another "eyewitness" of how fast his car is.

Is this a JDM B16? Have you ever taken the head off? I'm wondering if its actually stock? I'm not doubting you or calling you a liar. Its just that I know that some JDM motors come with internal goodies that arent expected. Then again, 240whp isnt uncommon for a stock B16/turbo either, so with little wieght I can see it happening.

Cool either way, now if you'd just stop coming to ovis so I can have a chance of winning again... lol

lol, hey man what's up! A few of us should be up this time but another one of our cars has a better shot of wining this time. I'll still be there

Yes, it's a JDM B16. I haven't had the head off the motor yet, just the valve cover doing the water pump. The motor dynoed 151whp when it was all motor which is dead on what other make with I/H/E and it did the 248whp turboed. I'm sure nothing internal has been done, well at least I hope. I'm building the bottom end this fall and i'll take some pics as I tear it down. I'm curious what kind of shape it's in anyway

i've heard rumors that there could possibly be cars coming down from AMS in chicago as well for this ovis.......

if it took a 7.9 last time, i'm thinking it could take maybe something faster this time. although consistancy is going to be key, something i need to work on.

although most of the time, no one is cutting a good light, so that could be the saving grace if people start working at thier reaction times.

I don't see how some of you can't believe this. ET is all driver...Its ovious that he can surely drive. The trap speed is nothing crazy, i see people running high 12's with similar traps. Its called learning how to drive your setup...some many people are worried about 500whp dyno and are stuck in the high 11's. Its funny when people think you need over 400whp to run 11's, remember all motor guys are doing it with 230ish whp
