04 Honda S2000, AEM Water/Meth Injection, Pump Gas, Drag Radial Street Car in the 9's
Quick run down of the mods:
Inline Pro built motor
GT37r turbo
MT ET Street Radials
AEM EMS
AEM Water/Methanol Injection System
AEM Injector Driver
AEM Twin Fire Ignition
AEM Pencil Coils
First off, I'd like to thanks Devin Pearce and AEM for all their support. Without them, this car wouldn't be where it's at right now. I'd also like to thanks Steve Oren (10ring) and Thomas Bemis (ssc_thomas) for all their help on and off the track. Big thanks to Mike Roth (MR2 Performance) for his awesome fab skills with the cage and suspension setup. All of these people helped tremendously and made this happen.
Yesterday was a local street tire test and tune at O'Reilly Raceway Park. It was cold and most people complain about the track not being in real good shape. Regardless, we decided to take the S out to see what would happen. I jump in the car and drive out to the track. On the way I top the tank off with a couple gallons of Shell's finest 93 octane. We arrived to the track, ran through tech, loaded up a fresh batch of water/methanol in the tank, and drove straight up to the staging lanes. I didn't even check tire pressures...just did my burnout, staged the car, and let her rip. 9.99 at 141 MPH.
Since I no longer carry a competition license, they warned me to slow down. It didn't matter; I was so happy I just parked the car and celebrated. After the track, I drove to the car with some friends to grab dinner then drove home without having to touch anything on the car. The car is over 3000lbs with me in it and still has all the comforts of a street car - AC, Heat, PS, PW, leather, stereo, etc.
This goal seemed almost out of reach at the beginning of the season. It's just so much fun chipping away at all aspects of the setup. We continue to fine tune individual details of the build and the ET keeps dropping!
Here is the vid:

Time slip:
1.637 60'
4.337 330'
6.522 1/8
113.37 1/8 MPH
8.402 1000'
9.994 1/4
141.89 1/4 MPH
We still have some tweaks that can be made on the current setup which should bring the ET down even more. At some point next season I might put slicks and race gas in the car and see what happens when we really turn it up…haha!
Again, thanks to all that have helped!!!!!!!

That's so sick Carey!! Congrats!
What broke at E-town btw? I was excited to see it run in person!
Are you going to do your passes before you come to MIR so you can go even faster?

Thanks guys. I broke the rear end at E-town.
I'm hoping to get my license before then. We'll see. I remember when I let it lapse I told myself "I wont have a car fast enough to need one ever again" haha. I was wrong.

Thanks for all the comments guys. Hopefully this weekend it'll be nice out and we'll get some pics of the cage, and the new AEM gauge setup. Their analog wideband, boost, and EGT gauges are really cool!!!!!
The rear end gearing is 4.08

Nice work Carey!
9's in a FULL street car is awesome.
Do you have bars for a chute yet?

Congrats Carey!
That thing hauls!

I love it! Especially the anti-lag! Congrats and keep up the good work. Thought I saw this thing at E-town.
