00 Si w/ stock LS 12.23@111 daily driven!!!!
We had a local test and tune at the track last night and i surprised the **** out of myself with ALL of my passes pretty much. First off the car is a 00 Si daily driven(at least 50 miles a day) with full interior, 5 lug, all the options. It has a stock LS with a T3/60-1 @ 0.8 BAR and an Electromotive TECII EMS. Before last night my best time was a 12.9@110 with the same setup. These are my passes on 22x8x15 MTs...
1st pass: 12.72@111 -2.0 60 ft.
2nd pass: 12.63@109 -2.0 60 ft.
3rd pass: 12.48@108 -1.9 60 ft.
4th pass: 12.40@109 -1.8 60 ft.
then i ran out of gas so i put in some 114 that i brought with me, and the car slowed up of course...
5th pass: 12.65@109 -1.9 60 ft.
then i turned the boost up to 1 BAR...
6th pass: 12.23@111 -1.8 60 ft.
7th & 8th pass: blew IC pipes off
All in all i was very satisified with my beater . Next time i am gonna run bigger slicks and try to launch it a lil harder and work on those 60 fts. Just thought id share with you guys...

thanx guys. yea id like to get 11s out of this stock motor, but i think im gonna leave the boost where it is and just take it pass by pass. My motor wont be done for awhile, the machine shop!!!!!! will have it for awhile, to my knowledge they havent even started on it(gotta do customers motors first). Ill be on Ricks 24.5 in. slicks tommorow and hopefully ill get some better passes. thumbs crossed for no broken axles

you'll hit 11's, my buddy ran 12.4 on drag radials. stock LS set up with inlinepro kit in a 5th gen civic coupe....full interior. springs and retainers with a 8000 rev limit.

Thanx fellas.
Boostaholic: I was hoping you would stumble in here, knowing we have the same car and very similar set-up. You ever make a pass in your car? Stock LS!
Jinx: your buddys car sounds interesting... he reved it to 8000 on stock cams? and what was his MPH on that run with radials? That car sounds pretty sweet...

thanx jinx, any idea what kinda Turbo he had? T3/T4?
...the funny part is... we did a compression test on my motor a few weeks ago and it read 130 across the board!!!!! It doesnt smoke a bit, and it runs great as you can see so i figured id keep takin it to the track and runnin 1 bar on it . Stock motors are great

what trans were you using? b16 or LS? After seeing this post,,, LS motor may be in my future instead of a GSR...VTEC isnt good for boost anyhow.
---KICK *** times BTW, especially in a 2600+ Lb car.

Yea thanx man! It was an LS trans, i dont care what anyone says i like my long gears!!!!! I went to the track lastnight also and have two follow up runs on 24" slicks this time instead of 22".
1st pass: 12.63@116 -2.0 60 ft.
2nd pass: 12.52@119 -1.98 60 ft.

i dont think a B16 tranny is really a good idea (i know everyone says otherwise) because with the 22" slicks i had to put it in 5th right before the traps. With the 24s i could go all the way through in 4th. Now i know if i had a B16 tranny it would be even worse.

ur mph went from 111 to 119 just by going from a 22" slick to a 24"? was the weather different? did u lighten the car? more boost? thats pretty crazy.
